I Can’t Believe You Haven’t Tried These Makeup & Beauty Goodies

makeup beauty

You ever have a list of makeup and beauty that you promise you’ll try one day soon but for some reason you never actually get around to trying it? Mind you these aren’t necessarily new makeup or beauty products but they are ones you’ve seen bloggers or beauty editors rave about over and over again. And each time they are raved you might take a mental note about trying it soon but never really get around to it.

Well here’s a list of I Can’t Believe You Haven’t Tried These Makeup & Beauty Goodies that I think you should try out (that is if you haven’t already).

So you can mentally add this to your ever growing list or just gab them right out now and try ’em out for size!

I can’t believe you haven’t tried….

Steam Cream
Steam Cream is one of my favorite multitasking products. This rich, quick to absorb cream can be used from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Wherever you need a little moisture and hydration! If you like Lush Dream Cream you’re bound to enjoy Steam Cream!

Rosebud Salve
You still haven’t tried it yet? For shame! This delightful little multitasking product can be used to tame brows, dabbed on elbows and knees for moisture, or on lips to soften and smooth them. Even mix it with powder blush to create a dewy cream blush. Everyone should have a tin (or a tube) in their stash!

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
I’m always slightly taken back there are makeup addicts out there who haven’t tried Shu’s awesome eyelash curler! This is one of my HG eyelashes of choice and although I cheat on it from time to time to try out other curlers I always come back to it. It just works, period. No pinching and super curled lashes with every use. Loves it!

Hourglass N 28 Lip Treatment Oil
Hourglass’s Lip Treatment doesn’t come cheap but it truly is one of my favorite lip oils! This formula is positively luxurious with a slick hydrating texture that relieves cracked, dried lips instantly. Loves it!

Have you tried any of these before or are they on your I Can’t Believe You Haven’t Tried These Beauty & Makeup Goodies list?

Do share some products that are on your list which you haven’t yet had a chance to try!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Add burn healer to the list of Rosebud Salve’s uses: whenever my fingers get a little too close to my flatiron I put some of this stuff on it and it amazingly get’s rid of any pain & redness immediately. Better than running your hand under cool water, IMO.

Sadly, I haven’t made it onto the Steam Cream train yet, but I’m about to place a Sephora order and that Hourglass Lip Oil is going in my cart stat. I was hoping some of these drugstore lip oils would pan out but after reading your review on Milani’s and some others, I will spring for a better one. And for those of you who love the makeup game and haven’t tried stepping it up with Shu’s eyelash curler – SHAME ON YOU. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? HG curler hands down – I have used it for years and have never found a better one yet. For as cheap as Rosebud Salve is, get some of that too. It’s lovely on the lips and you get a ton of product for the price!

I’ve never tried any of these. The curler is on my list, but I’ve never curled my lashes. They short and I think they may be too short to curl. Looking at Steam Cream and I’m intrigued.

Oh my gosh. I recently bought rosebud salve and it literally healed the eczema around my lips. SO GOOD.

On my list to eventually try are Embryolisse cream and La Mer lip balm. Are they worth it?

I have the Hourglass oil in Iconic. I got it when I wasn’t able to get that Bite VIP Rouge lipstick, and I love it. It’s a beautiful color, I like the fragrance and it leaves my lips feeling so smooth. It was a good consolation prize!
