Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette25

Here’s the review you’ve been waiting for! The Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($49) is a new peach inspired eyeshadow palette that’s limited edition and available with the Too Faced Summer 2016 Collection.

As you know, the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette has been in and out of stock at the blink of an eye. It’s sold out pretty much every single place it has launched thus far including Macy’s earlier this morning. Apparently peach is a very popular eyeshadow shade either that or the fact that the palette is scented like peaches is what’s driving makeup lovers crazy!

Let’s take a look!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette comes housed in a cute pencil box-like tin with a little peach decorating the front. These newer eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced remind me of the Japanese pencil boxes I had as a child. I love them as they are just too cute, and the peach one is particularly cute. As you know, Too Faced has concentrated on chocolate inspired everything their last few collections. And I, for one, haven’t tired of the trend! Their chocolate themed eyeshadow palettes have been quite good to me, and I even liked the fact they were scented like chocolate. The fact they have moved on to peaches had me thinking of other possibilities they could do…I mean maybe for Fall they’ll do an apple palette. Can you imagine a palette filled with reddish shades combined with sultry browns and neutrals? And of course, it would have a spicy apple cinnamon fragrance. With the success of the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette I have little to no doubt that Too Faced will continue to release fragrance “themed” eyeshadow palettes whether or not they will be fruit, chocolate, or even candy scented remains to be seen but don’t worry Winter is Coming on those palettes, mark my words.

This palette’s scent, in my opinion, wasn’t nearly as strong as the chocolate one and not quite the peachy scent I expected but none the less it still smelled sweet and peachy. Don’t worry, once applied I didn’t feel it was a lingering fragrance.

What’s interesting about the palette is it is larger than the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette, Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, and the Chocolate Bar Palette all of which contained 16 eyeshadow shades at 0.03 oz each. This time, around you gets 18 uniformed shades that are 0.03 oz each and still pay $49. I actually like that ALL the shades are the same size. I’m a little OCD, so those larger base shades in past palettes kind of drive me nuts. I like that all 18 shades are the same size.

I think the palette has some great shades, but some are lacking in formula. It isn’t quite the peach palette I hoped for that’s for sure. Why? Because there really aren’t that many peach shades in this palette, there’s about three or four tops and the rest of the shades are a mix of neutral browns and oddly enough a few purples and even a green. It’s a very weird, mismatch of shades to me and I had a very difficult time creating looks using the palette as none of the shades seem to go well together or as I was blending the look would go muddy on me. I’m not all that great at pairing shades up well so if you find yourself in a similar predicament, you might not like this palette. It’s a palette that might be suited best for advanced users as some of these shades might just have you scratching your head to create pairings. Inspiration isn’t far away though as Too Faced includes an instruction card to create three looks.

I admit I had wished they went with more peach shades here perhaps combined with some deeper browns to contrast. I don’t think you need a matte plum or a micro glittery purple or a light olive green in a palette inspired by peaches, but that’s only my opinion. There’s also a lot of shades that look similar to past releases. For example, I thought many of the shades looked a lot like ones from the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette.

A majority of the shades had excellent color pay off with a buttery soft texture and an easy to blend formula. The mattes were soft and silky, but they applied best over a primer as I felt like they sheered out considerably on my lids without it. However, there are also duds here like Just Peachy and Candied Peach which applied a bit patchy. Ironically these are the only two true peach shades in this palette and neither had a good formula. Just Peachy was rather powdery and applied poorly to my lids and sheered out so much when combined with other shades. I kept having to layer over it to get the color to show up as each time I blended it would disappear. I had the same issue with Candied Peach! Delectable was another bust as the shade was very dry and patchy. The palette wasn’t consistent in formula so you’ll get some hits and some misses.

I think I like the idea of the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette in theory rather than usability. This one proved a little difficult to use, and I felt many of the eye looks I tried to achieve blended out very muddy. I wish the palette contained more peach shades because as is it felt like a huge mismatch of a variety of colors that won’t be easy to use for the average user, believe me, you’ll find yourself Googling for inspiration.

I think the frenzy surrounding this palette isn’t warranted. It’s getting a stir of major excitement and causing a good deal of disappointment and frustration because it keeps selling out. I’m here to tell you don’t be disappointed if you haven’t yet gotten it because it’s a lot more hype and hassle than it is worth. It’s a nice palette but not one of Too Faced’s best.

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette will hopefully be back in stock soon at Sephora.com, Ulta.com, and TooFaced.com.

Thanks for the excellent review, Muse! This one’ll be a pass for me. “Winter is Coming”….. 🙂 I cracked up when I saw that…. Not very damn fast it’s not coming!! And neither is April 24…. but it’s finally less than a month away. *iz stoopid excited for the start of the new season*

An apple palette would SO rock – Oh, man I hope that’s what they do for this fall! that would be awesome beyond words! 😀

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Kim! My pleasure. Haha! Had to throw in a little GoT 😀 I am too! I am too! Can’t wait! God apple yes! RED! We need more red eyeshadow please!

    • Hononotenshi

You wrote my exact thought with the GoT citing AND that an apple themed palette would totally ROCK. Oh please please Too Faced listen to the Muse and make our wish come true!

      • Isabella Muse

haha 🙂 I agree! An apple palette would be beyond amazing. It seems like too many brands are scared of red eyeshadow!

  • Rachel

I love orange and peachy shades, so I thought I might want this, but your swatches have me reconsidering. It does seem like a random mishmash of shades and not at all what I was hoping for. I can’t see how I would make this work for me. Boo.

    • Isabella Muse

It seemed like, at the time, it was more peachy in promo images and photos on instagram. I got it and had a moment of “Where’s the peach?!”

    • Jo Anne Roberts

Everyone has different views. I’ve never been much of an eye shadow palette gal until recently and bought 4, from top brands including Sweet Peach. Im not a pro but, also, not a newbie at applications. I absolutly love the Sweet Peach palette and have already mastered, an array of pretty eye shadow applications. There was 1 peach shade that I too had a difficult time getting the shadow to stick to my eyelid. Even with UD POTION PRIMER. But, I found, it could be the brush. Some brushes, refuse, to let go of the shadow and deposit it evenly. I tried several brushew (and my brush collection is very good, not top, high end but, 40.00 for the set Im using among A few from The Balm) you get my drift. Brushes can hold on to powders, eye shadows ect, and make you feel like uou wasted your money on cosmetics or expensive palettes. I have UD NAKED 3 and almost really dislike a couple of the matts. Im pretty sure, if I invest in at least 2 or 3 really good eye shadow brushes, I’d like those matt rose colors more. My brush set is from be you beautifully and are pretty good brushes. Also, spray your brush with the cult favorite,(which i dont use called) something or other..+ fix… as I was typing the name of that popular primer, I forgot the name..duh! Anyway, I really am enjoying my Sweet Peach palette. Im 56, still enjoy wearing beautiful make up and not to go against Muse, but, wanted to give my opinion as she welcomed us to. Go to ULTA or Sephora or Macys and try the testers.

  • Kimmwc03

Yea, I was so excited for this to release but then I read Temptalia’s review and now your review and I’m passing on this.

    • Isabella Muse

The hype and excitement aren’t exactly warranted. Not going to say I wasn’t on that bandwagon because I was super excited but getting it and using it def dimmed the excitement!

    • Leather Lovely pH7

Same here. Thanks for being honest! It’s reviews like these that make me sad about famous youtubers. it seems they all love it but don’t really go into the downsides of it. I’m getting it this week just to see how it is for me and I’ll come back and give you my thoughts on it.

      • Isabella Muse

They might had a different experience Leather Lovely ya never know! Let me know, I’m curious what you think 🙂

        • Jo Anne Roberts

Hello, i’m new here. Just wanted to say, I see what you mean about a few peach colors no depositing well. I found that also but, found, a better brush, fixed that. Some brushes, wont release the product. Its weird, I picked some up, swatched my arm, perfect. Picked more up, swiped my lid, not as much went on my lid, even with UD potion primer in original. So, I tried different brushes, and found, those peach colors, were depositing better. I love this palette. Im using the light matts as a 1st layer, light peach color as my 2nd on lid up thru crease, darker browns or purples ib my crease, darker browns outter edge of eye lid. I used the lighter peach shades and a dark one on lower lid, then purple on the last 1/3 of lower lid. I wet my liner brush and used the black color as eye liner, top and bottom. To blend well, I picked uo more peach color and blended more just above my crease. I watched a few TOO FACED SWEET PEACH VIDEOS to see how they suggest the wear. This is actually my 1st TOO FACED EYE SHADOW PALETTE. Believe it or not, I just never was a fan of TF. But, I’m starting to really love them!

          • Isabella Muse

Glad it worked out for you Jo Anne! 🙂 thank for the tips for application!

  • Denise

This is a very autumn feeling palette, IMO. Maybe they should have gone with Pumpkin, instead of Peach? You gotta hand it to the Too Faced marketing team, though. They knew the best way to sell this dog was by limiting access!

I might still pick it up at some point, but definitely not at the $49 retail price.

    • Isabella Muse

Yup! very much autumn! I agree, I totally agree, they’d never admit to that but I think the in stock, out of stock thing was all marketing!

  • blee

Awwww, I did see that this got bad reviews also. It looks wonderful and your swatches are beautiful compared to others I have seen. I love to make eyes combo’s , but the muddy is a no no for me. Musey, do you think the green are the stem and green leaf on the peach? Maybe?

    • Isabella Muse

Ah yes! I didn’t think of that blee but makes total sense 😀 good call! But I just don’t think that the peach and green work well in a look eep! I’d love to see if some youTube guru would be able to create a peach/green look that was wearable 😀

        • BeezLouise

          Yes, indeed!
I am surprised by your review, Muse.
The colors in this palette ate so EASY fit me to pair lol!
Perhaps it’s our differing eye/skin/hair colors, idk lol!
Anyways, I’m sorry you weren’t happier with this one, I just want my opinion out there that THIS PALLET ROCKS!

  • Lulle

Initially, when I saw the first sneak peeks months ago, I was planning to buy it. But after getting a better look at the shades and reading how the few peachy ones are also the poor quality ones, I’m going to pass. I know this is a great marketing success for Too Faced, but in my opinion it’s a missed opportunity to do something both fun and great. They could have included less eyeshadows, focusing more on actual peachy shades, and added one or two blushes, plus maybe a highlighter. That would have been more fun than a bunch of their classic neutrals with 2 or 3 peachy shades thrown in. Just my opinion!

  • Sarah

SO happy I didn’t buy into the hype over this palette. I always feel super disappointed looking at their palettes online in pictures versus seeing them in person–they just never look the same. I just bought the Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs Neutrals palette and while it’s not really peachy it does have a pink flow to it, and for $6.50 I’ll take it all day over this palette. Thanks for the review!

    • Lori

I also just got New-trals vs. Neutrals and as far as I’m concerned, this is the palette Too Faced should’ve aimed for. I have three other Too Faced palettes and love them but I’m a little annoyed by the hype, the misrepresentation of release dates and the general circus around this palette.

  • Maria

Too faced is really too faced with the palette in stock then sold out in minutes. I love too faced, but I agree with you. Just a mash up of shades. I ordered mine on Hsn on advanced order now I am debating.

    • Isabella Muse

Thank god I thought I was nuts! The shades just seem all over the place.

  • Z

I am debating between this or the pb&j palette! I have a feeling that they will come out with a pumpkin spice chai theme palette around Fall/Winter!

      • Sue S.

OMG, if they do pumpkin for fall I am all in. Sucker for pumpkin!

I won’t get this palette, as I recently got TF’s Chocolate Bon Bons and also the PB&J, and I love both. I can see why they didn’t do all peach-colored shades for this palette because it would have been too much and would have limited its appeal even more. I can see light green for the leaves on the peach tree, and even the purples for bruised peaches! Gotta have a good amount of contrast or all the shades run together.

        • Susan

LOL, I was a liar. I bought it not long after I said I wouldn’t, this past spring, because I got to swatch the shades in person at Ulta. Thought the scent was wonderful, and it filled in some holes in my stash colors, namely the peachy ones.

So… if I ever say I’m not gonna buy a beauty product, you just can’t believe me. 😉

  • pamela

Thank you for the honest and thorough review!! I also think the whole concept is a bit gimmicky :/ They were trying too hard for this one, IMO..

The chocolate palette is great though! 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

A little ;-D You’re very welcome Pamela 🙂 thanks for reading!

  • AJ

Hi, Muse. Great review as always. I think Too Faced could take the palette themes farther by introducing lippies and blushes to coordinate. Apple-scented reds? Peanut butter-scented neutrals? Blackberry jam? I prefer tube lippies over their melted ones. I wish they could make some good brown lippies that smell like chocolate. Yum. I would probably buy all of it.

    • Isabella Muse

I’d be all over that AJ! 😀 sounds like a plan to me 😀 I’m sure, that at some point, they’ll likely do peach melted lippies, that wouldn’t surprise me in the least 😀

  • LS

I really, really wanted this palette. I love peach eye shadows, and from sneak peaks, this looked very peachy! Now that I’m getting to see swatches, I’m seeing far too much brown 🙁 I’m going to skip this after all. Thank you for the swatches and honesty.

    • Isabella Muse

my pleasure LS! I thought the same as you! I think we got a little bit too excited and our eyes were playing tricks on it ;-D I thought it was much much more peach but after getting it was a lot more brown!

  • Mary

I feel the same way! Disappointed that the peachy color isn’t showing up well on me. At first, I thought it was because of my tan asian eyelids not showing the shadows properly. Glad to know it wasn’t just me! I absolutely love peachy pinks on me, so I’m pretty disappointed in the pigmentation. Thinking about returning it now 🙁

    • Isabella Muse

It’s not you! The shades just kinda go muddy and the peaches are pretty sheer once you start blending 🙁

  • Jess

Thank you for your honest review! I get what they were going for with the purples – mimicking the colors surrounding the peach pits but for real though where are the different colors of peaches? Nectarines? Apricots? Not a weird neon and some sheer stuff… I really REALLY wanted this to be good. Crossing my fingers for Pumpkin or maybe pie in general. Or cake! The possibilities!

    • Isabella Muse

I never considered the purple like that Jess! Good point! Oh you’re very welcome. I agree 🙁 I’d have really liked more peachiness 🙁 I’d be all over Pumpkin!

  • Paola

I’m waiting for a black cherry palette! I still have all my MAC cult of cherry quads and I need my burgundy eyeshadow fix! Plus the smell of cherries would be a bonus!

  • Kaitlin

Am I the only one who finds scented eyeshadow to be gross? To me fragrance is something you wouldn’t put on your eyelid!

    • Nikole

Kaitlin; while I don’t find it gross, I definitely agree it’s an unnecessary risk to load eye products with scent. The manufacturer is practically asking for complaints about allergic reactions to the product. Also, not for nothing, but it is well known that fragrance is drying. Pigment is a drying enough product, let’s not compound the problem by adding fragrance.

      • Bells

I absolutely love this palette but unfortunately I developed a really heavy allergic reaction to it☹️ My eyes puff up and become red and itchy and I guess the fragrance is to blame. Oh, I used my UD eyeshadow brush, which worked really well to blend and apply

        • Laurissa

I too developed a severe allergic reaction to this product. I loved the palette and the peach scent but my eyelids swelled up and ended up at the doctors this week:(

    • Domi

No, you are not alone. I also find fragrance in makeup and skin care unnecessary. Just an added chemical that can cause irritation in sensitive skin. I think it is interesting that their is data showing that artifical or natural fragrence can cause skin ageing in all skin even when no noticeable irritation occur. Still it is everywhere when it comes to skin care and makeup.

  • Yen

Why too face? Why? I had one foot in and one foot out of the hype. I was going to wait until it arrived at sephora stores since I work VERY close to one. But now I can pass since the colors look underwhelming. Those instagram sneak peeks fooled me. I rather have something small like the etude juice bar palette and have them focus on the quality. I feel like every too faced palette promo i see looks amazing! Then, I find it in stores and it looks boring to me.

    • Isabella Muse

It’s funny as I thought the Juice Bar Palette embodied peach better than this palette!

  • Dee

So glad to read your review as it does make me feel better about not being able to snag it. I’m going to pass. But if the apple suggestion happens I’d be all over that in the fall!

  • Cheryl

Thank you! You take the best swatch photos. ..until now, I did know there was so much chunky glitter in some of these shades or how “blah” the brownish shades actually are. There really isn’t anything overly “peachy” in this palette, now that I have seen your swatches.

I agree with you that this palette isn’t really user friendly. The looks I have seen people come up with on You Tube are pretty far out there…nothing the average woman could actually pull of and wear to work. Now I see why. I’ll pass. Thanks again!

    • Isabella Muse

haha thanks Cheryl! Yeah 🙁 some of the shades have micro glitter which I hate with a passion! My pleasure dear!

  • Heidi

Some cute colors there, but it’s meh for me. I like peachy blush, but not much else. The scent of peach puts me off a bit thanks to a couple college parties paired with peach schnapps. Though I love the lipstick you’re wearing in these shots. It’s gorgeous!

  • Maria

Just ordered mine from sephora website. I was debating but caved in.

    • Maria

I just checked my order status. The palette is out of stock. I called customer service and they said i should be getting email that order is cancelled. Oh well. I told them I did not want to be charged.

  • Rachel

UGH! I was SO excited about this palette. But seeing yours and other reviews and how Too Faced acted (or NOT acted) after jerking us around with release dates and sell outs, I think I might be over it. I was planning on going to Ulta right away when they put it in stores, March is my birthday month so I’ve been stacking up my double points and got a couple Ulta gift cards for my bday all to use for this palette and now I don’t think I’ll do it. Do you have any other suggestions on great spring palettes? Other than the eye shadows I get in my ipsy I haven’t spent a cent on eye shadow since the Naked 2 palette, I was so excited for a splurge and now I don’t know what to do!

  • Nikole

Late to the party as usual, but; Muse, thank goodness you echoed so much of what I was thinking, right from the time that they were just starting to give peeks and hints of this palette! ‘Peach’ palette? I absolutely love the color (and the fruit) of peach, but 3 peach shades out of 18? I can see the green shade as being the stem/leaves shade, so that brings it up to 4 shades; still, how does brown and purple fit in?? It looks like 3 palettes randomly thrown into one pan, with peach scent added.
I just can’t help thinking that 4, maybe 6 tops, eyeshadow shades with this theme would have been better and more focused. Or, as another writer pointed out above, less eye shadows and maybe include a peach blush or two and a highlighter.
All that being said, I’ve seen some YouTube videos in which women of color really like this palette. Looking at it again, I can see how woc can really rock most of these shades (they can likely use the lighter shades too if they put them in the right spots). Perhaps too faced should have just gone that way with the marketing instead of pushing the ‘peach’ theme.
With all the hype around this palette, I felt like the only person on the planet that wasn’t planning on buying this and wasn’t even excited about it. Thank you for being brave enough (as always) to offer an honest opinion. I really, totally can’t believe (to add insult to injury) that the peach shades were the under performers!!
Will pass, as planned. Waiting for too faced to produce a cooler toned palette for me. Thank you again!

    • Isabella Muse

I was shocked! I think for some reason I was someone blind when seeing those promo images as the palette looked so much more peach in the promo images but in fact the palette is more of a round up of browns. That isn’t a bad thing, I like brown, but it is disappointing when you want peach! Aw my pleasure my dear 🙂 Maybe you can swatch it in store because honestly, you never know, you might love it!

  • Hononotenshi

I have wanted to purchase a high end eyeshadow palette for quite a while. The chocolate bar palettes appealed to me because of the scent but the colors weren’t exactly what I wanted so I never purchased any of them. I love red eyeshadows, and the colors in this new palette (as far as the photos show) are the ones I always pair my red to burgundy shadows with: peachy to orange transition colors and/or some reddish warm toned browns. Do you recommend me to start with this palette? Because of the bad comments I’m not sure.

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Hononotenshi! Unfortunately, the peach and orange shades are lacking in this palette also the ones that are included aren’t very good quality and will likely blend out muddy when used with red. The browner shades are quite nice but if you’re looking solid performing browns the Chocolate Palettes as well as the Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette are a better option! Hope this helps!?

  • Lauryn

I am so mad at myself for falling for the hype and ordering this directly from TooFaced instead of waiting for Sephora. This palette was a waste of $49, the peach colors suck, you can’t blend or else you end up with a muddy look, the smell makes me a little quesy, and for the love when will they fix the problem of all the patchy shadows they put out? I wish my order was one of the cancelled ones. Save your money and buy peach singles somewhere else to make your own palette girls.

  • Maria

I think it is funny that sephora, ulta, and too faced websites all had great reviews for peach palette. To me the colors look meh from your swatches. I ordered the palette from Hsn on back order for April 26 shipment. I am debating if I should cancel my order. I have many other palettes.

    • Isabella Muse

I’d honestly say try it out. You might love it. And HSN is cool with returns so you return it if you hate it! 🙂

  • Picho

Sorry to hear that this palette didn’t perform well for you 🙁 I just got the palette myself and I actually like the peach shades! I was lucky that they performed pretty well on me (but I have normal/oily lids). The peach shades in particular do seem to work better packed on the lid instead of blending out in the crease but any eyeshadow that’s good quality should be able to do both. Guess Too Faced ran the gimmick into the ground on this one xD

Also, YES YES YES ON AN APPLE PALETTE.

PIE, TART, CANDIED, CARAMEL, CIDER– HIT ME UP, TOO FACED. THE NAME GAME IS STRONG.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m glad they worked for you Picho! 😀 that’s good news! haha yes please all of those!

  • Jenn

I ordered the palette from Ulta when it was released and already love it. It’s way more wearable for me than the Chocolate Bar. Yes, there are a variety of colors other than peach, but some of them are really lovely on, and I’ve managed to create several nice, light summer looks in just the few days that I’ve had the palette. 🙂

  • Andrea

Hi Muse! So after your review I had come to the conclusion that I was not going to buy this, BUT I wandered into Ulta today to pick up some Lemon Aid because of all the great things you said about it and my gift cards were burning a hole in my pocket, and to my astonishment I saw the SP palette tester sitting out. It sure looks gorgeous but when I swatched them on the back of my hand everything you said about the peaches and pinks was true. But then one of the workers said “hey if you’re interested in that we have them at the cash wrap” aaaand that’s when I caved. Everything says they won’t be available until the 7th but since they had it I just couldn’t resist since I had had my heart set on it for months. And honestly for myself I don’t really mind the lack in pigment, I think it’s enough for me due to the fact that I’m not usually packing on a whole lot of color anyways I usually keep it pretty light and simple so I like it. Also I’m already in love with Lemon Aid so thank you for that!

ANYWAYS, moral of the story, I just wanted to spread the word for those that are anxious to see it that some Ultas may already have them!

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Andrea! I’m happy you like it!!! Thanks for your mini review!

  • AliceMay

This product release has ultimately made me extremely disappointed in Too Faced as a brand. In fact, to be quite honest the entire thing is BS. Too Faced RAVED about this product for MONTHS before its release and sent a bunch out to beauty bloggers for free to hype this product up. As soon as it was released on TooFaced.com it sold out within a couple short hours and it’s been almost impossible to buy because it’s been sold out everywhere at ulta, sephora, ect. This entire “limited quantity” issue is BS for such a “reputable” brand. How could they not see that this would be a popular item? What really gets me is on Instagram they even say that they will NOT be restocking this palette but they’re still promoting it on their Instagram page and it really does not make sense to promote an item that none of their customers can buy. They’ve given a lot of their stock away for FREE to beauty bloggers while their PAYING customers got shafted and they’re clearly not even sorry about it. If only the “privileged” few are able to get their hands on their products then I will no longer support this brand. I’ve paid A LOT of money to this company but all of this ridiculousness is going to change that.

Seems more like a sweet plum than sweet peach with all the taupey mauvey shades 🙂

Just got in mail today from Ulta the Makeup revolution palette. New-trals vs. neutrals. Colors are very pretty and includes some peach shades. Only $10. It got great reviews.

I’ve been wanting to buy the original chocolate bar palette for so long now, but since so many people are saying the colors from the sweet peach are just typical browns do you think it’s worth buying since I don’t own any of the chocolate bar series? I’ve been hesitating on buying this, the original, or the Bon bons but these shades just seem a little more unique and flattering to me. I have the naked 1 from ud and the original chocolate bar has very similar browns so I’m hesitating on that. My local ulta has the sweet peach in stock and I was just hoping to get some insight. Thank you in advance should you respond!

Hi Melinda. All the chocolate palettes and this one contain some very pretty neutral, natural browns. It’s really about what you think would be browns you’d like most. I think the original palettes and Sweet Peach have a lot warmer, more intense shades than the Bon Bons Palette so it really depends which you like best. Hope this helps!?

The peach palette is not listed in ulta website anymore, FYI. I am surprised. They still have peanut butter and jelly palette.

The plummy/burgundy type of shades on these are calling me but I have do many palettes already I’m being picky for the next to choose. Perhaps the Auberginie from WetnWild will be next? I really don’t need anymore eyeshadows or blushes but a makeup junkie must collect! Or lipsticks!
But drawn to the colors like a bee!

Thanks for your review! It is spot on! Wish I had read it before buying, Ah, well… Live and learn. Apple palette? Yes! Yes! Yes!

Absolutely loved this post, glad I found this! I’ve been soooo tempted to get this palette, but I’ve been torn between the good reviews and the bad reviews. You provide such a good explanation and good swatches, I feel completely satisfied with my choice in not getting this palette, seeing as I’m not an advanced user of eyeshadow palettes and primarily am interested in the palette because of the advertised “peachy” theme – so sad that they don’t have more peachy shades, I’ll have to look for those elsewhere! 😛
