Hit or Miss: Lorac Nude Necessities Eyeshadow Palette

hitmisslorac

The Lorac Nude Necessities Eyeshadow Palette released at the start of January and was one of the first Spring 2016 Collection pieces we saw from Lorac. This palette contained 12 gorgeous nude, neutral shades and had me swooning on first sight.

Did you get it?

Was it a hit or miss for you?

I thought it was a miss.

The colors in the palette ended up being too light, too frosty, and I also had a hard time contrasting with any of the shades since they ended up all looking the same on my eyes.

Was the Lorac Nude Necessities Eyeshadow Palette a hit or miss for you?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Total miss for me. I actually made a special trip to Ulta when it released and had it in my basket, but at the last minute decided to swatch the tester. I had been expecting the same buttery quality as the Pro and Unzipped lines but this was dry, patchy, and really underpigmented. Ugh. Glad I dodged that bullet!

Miss. I so missed them I didn’t get them. Hope I’m not to negative, I don’t like Lorac. I’ll blame it on Sephora LOL 🙂

I too hate it when the shades in a palette look too similar or muddy on my eyes! What a shame, especially as Lorac is a pro brand.

I LOVE this palette. I’m super pale (about N10) and find these shades perfect for my lids and transitions. I do need a darker color for depth though.
