Check out their Tinted Lip Glow Balm for a natural hint of pink on your pout or their new Camouflage Cream Concealer for a mere $6 bucks! About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I like a lot of W7 products. I have a few of their blushes, bronzer, and their Naked palette dupes. I’m loving the “In the City” & “In the Mood” palettes as well as the Hollywood Glow bronzer/highlighter palette.

    • Isabella Muse

I had to look that one up, Tara! Never heard of it 😀 now I gotta explore 😀

      • Tara

Amazon sells them or eBay. They are out of England so I takes a week or two

  • LS

I love Makeup Revolution. I bought two eye shadow palettes when Ulta had them BOGO for a Cyber Monday deal. The formula is very nice. The only negative is that I must wear an eye primer or they will crease. I nearly always wear a primer anyway, so it’s fine as long as I don’t forget that step.

I enjoy Milani’s blushes and all-over luminizers. I’ve had good luck with NYX as well, especially with their butter glosses 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

Likewise LS! I always have to wear primer with their shadow too! But I don’t mind 😀

  • Kimmwc03

I’m with you on Essence and I’d also add ColourPop to the list. Sally Girl has some good stuff too but they are reformulating/rebranding so I don’t know how that will turn out.

    • Isabella Muse

Colourpop for sure! I haven’t tried too many sally girl beauty products but the ones I have def were great budget picks!

  • Janessa

I can’t believe you didn’t include ColourPop!! They have quickly become one of my favorites. So affordable and the quality is top notch. (although I can totally understand why they’re not included since they don’t have a full range of products 🙂 )

  • Christine Joy Luikuo

We only have Essence and Sleek here in the Philippines. Sleek, however, is quite pricey at the malls. I wish there will be Kiko Cosmetics too because their products are cute!

  • blee

Milani and Color Pop. I would love to pick up some Sleek. Hide my eyes! 🙂

      • blee

Hey, my IT showed up yesterday and the brushes I got are today. I gotta space it out. Hubby sees all this. ;p)

          • blee

Well the blush is another dupe. ( Almost the same color as CC Naturally Pretty Pallet & Ombre’ blush) Sad to say. The cleanser is not better than what I use and I have the PP. The BB eye concealer is just a lighter version than what I have. So the brush was the only thing that was different and wowed me. I wished she came out with different blush colors. But I love IT for sure 🙂

          • Isabella Muse

Ooooo I’m so sad! Sorry Blee! I really loved the cleanser! The concealer was very light though 🙁 Adored the blush too! I’m not a fan of the cream CC blush so I’m cool with the powder 😀

  • blee

Oh don’t be sad. It’s okay. QVC 30 day returns. That’s is why I like them. Most of the time I like what I get. I have an AD with her last TSV and love it. And the CC blush is a powder too. I don’t like cream blushes either. :0

    • Isabella Muse

Amen for awesome return policies 😀 Yeah, creams fade on me so so fast!

  • Rachel R.

I love Sleek and Makeup Revolution. I haven’t been a fan of Essence in the past, but since they’ve started reformulating, I notice their stuff is looking better. I’m planning to revisit the brand. I haven gotten to try Catrice or Kiko yet, but they’re on my list.

  • Sammy

Muse, I love that Catrice lipstick color in the picture above! Love me some punchy pink, especially for Spring/Summer! No patchy, dry color with this one? It looks like from the Ulta website that it’s the shade My Pink Instinct 110? Would you kindly confirm? Thanks bunches!

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Sammy! I actually have a link pointing to the review of the color and formula within this post. Just click it and you’ll find the post with swatches, the color information, and the entire review as well as a photo of it on my lips! Hope this helps!?

  • celine D

Love Essence Products ! (Thanks to Muses recommendation and reviews )
There So Glow creme highlighters are the best ! I have already gone through 1 and purchased backups because Target is sometimes out of them !!

  • kellly

I’ve been a NYX fan for a long time, so they’d definitely be on my list.

  • Jenni

I had no idea that Sleek has their own website that delivers internationally! Thanks for the tip, I’ll now go order everything.. xx

  • dina

That Catrice pink is such a beautiful pink pop and an Ulta-trip inducing price tag seals the deal. Same for a few of those Sleek VIP Lipsticks. And those Kiko Heart Lipsticks I’ve been stalking for a few months now but want to swatch first. Trouble!!

  • Iris

I’ve tried Essence’s face powder. I liked it and it was comparable to much more expensive brands.

  • genevieve

Target Australia has just decided to sell Sleek at its stores and my goodness, it has all sold out almost immediately. Such a great brand and it is fantastic that you can go in and check out the shades yourself.
Milani can only be purchased through a few beauty online retailers and that is great too because I love their lipsticks.
I would love to have Kiko here too.

    • Isabella Muse

OH I WISH! If we had Sleek at Target I’d live there 😀

  • Jasmine

I love Makeup Revolution! Considering the quality of the product you would assume the price would be a lot higher.

I’ve heard a lot of people rave about Essence. Must get my hands on some of their products to try out.

  • Agona

I don’t have a favorite but I’ve been curious about Pacifica and SheaMoisture eyeshadows. Haven’t tried them yet though!
