Lip Smackers Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Balms Launch

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m starting to see more and more drugstores stocking the Lip Smackers Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Balms! If you’re not familiar with Tsum Tsums they are little, squishy, plush toys that are highly collectable in a range of different Disney characters.

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balm

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum

The Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balms are available in four Disney characters and flavors for $7 each. These are reminiscent of EOS Lip Spheres or the Sephora Kiss Me Balms but they are a little skinnier and have a finer tip. The packaging is actually quite heavy and almost like a toy of some sort. I couldn’t find them around my area for a while but now they are popping up everywhere. I suspect that’s because Easter is on the way so they’ll make a cute item to tuck into baskets.

Flavors:

  • Mickey (marshmallow)
  • Minnie (strawberry lollipop)
  • Stitch (blueberry)
  • Winnie the Pooh (honey)

Cute aren’t they?

I refrained from buying them all! I’m a little too addicted to lip balm so that was quite a feat I pulled off by resisting.

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balms are launching now in drugstores or get them on sale at kohls.com.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I picked up the Winnie the Pooh. It’s really cute, but definitely not honey. It smells like the bubblegum flavored medicine the doctor would give you when you were a kid.

      • Kimmwc03

I got the Pooh one too but I can’t seem to open it.

        That medicine was good though.

I was just coming here to say this! So disappointed.

And Kimmwc03, I had to really finagle it to get mine open. It’s kind of an oddly set up package.

How cute are these! I haven’t worn lipsmackers since I was about 12–and don’t see myself doing so anytime soon–but these are adorable and tempting, especially since a have a few tsum tsums. I love that you love both drugstore and high end quality cosmetics. I wouldn’t have known about these and other cute products (etude house lotions in the animal containers, for example) if it weren’t for your blog.

These are adorable. I picked up the Stitch one, but I don’t use it much since it actually has a pretty heavy blue tint. Blue lips are not cute, ha.

    • Isabella Muse

lol! I didn’t realize they had a tint, thought they were clear!

Just curious, have these replaced the Bonne Bell lip smackers? Has Disney bought them out, or used the name?

    • Isabella Muse

They haven’t replaced Lip Smackers, they are just a new introduction to the Lip Smacker Lip balm range. Lip Smackers have tons of varieties, products, flavors, etc…they aren’t replacing anything, merely introducing a new product concept. It’s merely a Disney trademarked product, Disney doesn’t make them, just a matter of Lip Smackers using Disney art/concept and paying whatever trademark fees. Hope this helps!

I’d totally buy a lip balm that looks like BB8 (from Star Wars: The Force Awakens). I love this droid, it is sooo cute )))

  • Libby

I got a Mickey Mouse one for my Mom and I got myself the Winnie the Pooh one, not for the lip balm though, purely for the fact that they’re Tsum Tsums and way too cute. I tried using the Pooh one and it’s really not for me. It’s heavy on the fragrance and not really hydrating xD I’ll stick to my Nivea and Nuxe ones! But this sits prettily on my desk as I type so it’s a win all the same!

Hi, Muse! 🙂 Long time no chat, now to go and read all the other posts I’ve missed!

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Libby How are you? 🙂 Happy Weekend chica! I was good! I didn’t get one even though I had an urge to buy them all haha! hey, even on your desk it is worth it, that would totally be what I would do with it 😀

My walmart has had these for several weeks, and I’ve been tempted to get one….I may just do that now!

I really don’t like the formula on these. Way too thin and greasy. The scent on the Winnie one is awful, very harsh and chemically and almost bitter on the lips. I can’t quite place it but it’s absolutely not honey. Not even close.

    • Pollywog

I just purchased the Winnie one on sale at Walmart for $3 and it’s the actual plastic that smells just awful, reminiscent of the mcdonalds happy meal toys from the 90’s- super stinky and chemically. Even just touching the Winnie for a few seconds to apply the balm leaves the scent soaked into my fingers. I’m gonna try to air it out and see if it helps, if not I’ll be returning stinky Winnie. ):

I bought all four of these because A) I’m obsessed with the packaging and B) I love LS products. I swatched them all and wore them around, but I use them on my vanity as a display, mostly. Too heavy to carry around, and they don’t really moisturize.
