About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ooh, I just picked up the highlighter yesterday and I love it! It’s finely milled and silky to the touch. Though it is a bit darker than I thought it would be. I didn’t know there were other products so I didn’t ask anyone to look in the back for those. Boo.

Megan– do you think it would be too dark for someone with paler skin?

      • Megan

It’s close to being too dark. I usually wear the second to lightest shade in foundations and it does look almost too dark when I swatch it on my hand. But if I blend it out well and don’t do an in-your-face highlight then it isn’t a problem at all.

I don’t much care for the artwork – it doesn’t look even remotely like the work of a professional. The eye palette looks promising – hopefully more cool or neutral than warm.

I don’t think they are going for a professional artsy look, I think they just wanted to do something a little fun and different with their packaging this time around.

Can’t wait to see the line! Hope there are more lipsticks ( non matte). Lover her lip products.

    Cute packaging too!

I wish we could get Sonia K at our Target in Australia. Her products seem so good.

The Liquid Lip product – the color transforming one, not the top coat – is no longer on the Target web site. I ordered it and they substituted with the topcoat below it in your photos. Don’t know what happened, but I’m going to keep an eye on it. I haven’t decided if I will return this one but I’m a sucker for the transforming color products!

I parchased the knock-out blue eye-liner solita decisión on a clearance just yesterday the only left and is beautiful but does anyone know how to get more product out if it. I mean the pencil dies not twist to get the tip out more and I think the pencil itself the tip is not made of wood plastic I guess? So how do you sharpen this? Lol! Help! Anyone?
Sometimes Target has lots of goodies on clearance is worth checking it out. Last time I found just about all Loreal liquid glosses shades and a few eyeshadows in that magic basket!

  • Silvia

Oh! I hate to find all the typos later. So sorry. Purchased, split not solita (Lol!) out of it. Arghhh!
