Ulta Shimmer Blush Looks Familiar

Ulta Shimmer Blush

So if Ulta Shimmer Blush looks familiar that would be because you you might be thinking of Clinique Cheek Pop Blush! At least I was when I saw the cutesy daisy imprint on the new Ulta Shimmer Blush ($7).

It’s only available in one shade so don’t get your hopes up (more to come maybe?) and looks more like a highlighter than a blush at this point but you never can judge makeup on a promo image alone. But the description does read “create a radiat look by using the highlighter on your cheekbones and temples” with a contrasting statement that reads “Spring into the season with Ulta’s gorgeous, shimmering Shimmer Blush”.

Hmmm…!

Either way, the design still reminds me of Clinique’s formula.

It’s available now at Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yeah, that’s really close to Clinique’s design. I still want to see how it swatches. 🙂

I sent them a message on Facebook to see what happened to the item and this was the reply:
Thank you! We were able to locate this item and confirmed it was a promotional offer that was sold around Easter. At this time, the product will not be returning. We were not able to find an exact product suggestion to the Ulta Shimmer Blush, but we hope you like the below! Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything else!

The Soap & Glory one is actually quite nice! 😀 I’m shocked it sold out so fast ! Seems weird it appeared and disappeared so fast!

I just ordered the Soap and Glory one! Thanks for the confirmation 🙂 I’m a glow/glitter junkie and I’m fascinated by the idea of a lower-shimmer highlighter like Glow All Out.

Yay! I’m looking forward to hearing what you think!

I absolutely love the Soap and Glory highlighter! I’ve been using it with the Ulta Velvet blush in Sunglow, it’s perfect for a warm summer look! 😀

It’s funny, living in Alaska, we can be ‘behind the times’ in some things, but that means we also have things after you guys down south already ran out! I bought 2 of these, but sold one in my online store ~ I have one left and I’m torn ~ to use it or not! It is a lovely light ginger-cocoa shade if that helps.. if you’re very fair shinned (or maybe a redhead!) this might be a perfect blush but if you’re more tan or olive skinned, it might just be a nice touch of shimmer..
