Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil

Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil ($88) is one one facial oil to rule them all. I’ve been using facial oil since Josie Maran introduced Argan Oil. There she was, a beacon of light on QVC at 1AM telling me how Argan Oil was going to make me younger, more flawless, and was going to help me maintain my youthful glow.

Up until that point, serum was totally my thing. But after Argan Oil there was no stopping me or any of the number of brands that decided to jump on Josie’s brandwagon and create their own facial oils. And there are plenty to choose from at this point, many of which are my favorite like Clinique Smart Treatment Oil!

But the one facial oil that has come above all facial oils for me is most definitely Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil.

We have such a longstanding relationship that I actually finished an entire bottle and purchased another bottle of this stuff. Like how!? I mean facial oil lasts literally forever. The end of the world might come about before you finish an ounce of facial oil. But somehow, someway I finished an entire bottle and pats on the back were had by all.

Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil is grossly at expensive at $88 but truly it is the best $88 dollars of my life. Does it count I got mine during a sale on Herbivore’s website at 20% off?! That’s something right? Although my second bottle set me back full price and I didn’t blink an eye because splurging on good skincare is totally a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

I don’t know what it is about this oil, but it just makes me glow.

Herbivore Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil 2

Herbivore has several formulations of their facial oil but I navigate towards the Phoenix Cell Regenerating formula myself since it is for drier skin and premature aging. This one is loaded with rosehip which a highly emollient oil that has antioxidants. It also contains chia co2 oils which is an omega-3 linolenic acid that helps skin retain moisture for long periods of time.

I’ve tried a lot of different facial oils and this is by far the most hydrating of them all. It absorbs easily but it does leave behind a good deal of shine and slickness which is why I tend to apply it prior to bed. In the morning, I wake up with super smooth, well-hydrated skin. My skin just looks so much brighter when I use this and my dullness and tiredness are eased dramatically.

If you have super dry, tired, and duller skin this is definitely a quick and easy pick me up to restore not only moisture but also to help you get your glow back!

I love this stuff.

Very Muse Approved.

Funny you’d post about Herbivore – I just got the Youth Preserving Orchid Oil from Sephora – literally, it arrived yesterday! (on sale, y’know…. :))

Haven’t tried it yet, but I have to wonder if it’s better than the JM Argan oil.. that stuff really does rock. I mix it with my nighttime moisturizers and it really seems to help!! But this stuff just sounded so awesome, plus it’s a way cool bottle. 🙂 (yeah, there’s a good reason to drop $65….)
If I ever use up my supplies of face oil, I’ll have to try the Phoenix one!! I almost sprang for it, but decided to go “cheap” – plus each had super good ratings/reviews on sephora, so I doubt that I will hate it!
Have you tried any of the other Herbivore oils, Muse?

    • Isabella Muse

I have not tried any others but I want too! I loved this one! Don’t get me wrong, I love my Argan Oil but this stuff is like Argan Oil on crack 🙂 Let me know how the orchid oil is, curious minds 😀

  • kimkats

I will do that! I’ll give it a run for a week or so, and I’ll letcha know what I think!

Lol “argan oil on crack” You funny girl!

I’m addicted to Hush & Dotti’s Dream drops. Actually, addicted to their cleansing balm and eye balm too. It’s vegan and cruelty free and has 0 chemical ingredients. It’s a perfect blend of great oils. They only sell from their website so they aren’t as well known as brands that sell at national retailers. Check them out. Their products are amazing!

Is it better than Physicians Formula Argon oil? This looks fabulous by the way and I am TOTALLY in love with argon oils.

Been so busy, I’m behind on reading blogs, wish I read this during the 15% off Sephora sale, would’ve grabbed it. It sounds awesome, will try to hold off until fall sale

I’m super late to this party! But! I just was browsing through stuff today and was interested in this oil, went to Herbivore’s site, and they have a smaller roller version for $28. I’m really interested in this stuff, it sounds like magic!

Hey muse! Was wondering if you still remember but how long did it take you to finish the oil? I have it in orchid and I’m sitting here thinking, man there’s no way I can finish that for awhile haha

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Maria! It took me about 18 months to finish the one! It’s a rather lager bottle and a little goes a long way I felt like I was using it forever!
