Lancome Juicy Shakers

One of the most exciting releases, as far as I’m concerned, for Spring 2016 is the new Lancome Juicy Shakers. You have to love these as a makeup addict! Since Lisa Eldridge has taken the position as Lancone Global Creative Director she seems to have been heavily influenced by Korean makeup and beauty packaging and products. I think the new Juicy Shakers reflects that influence because they are just so cute and playful which Lancome isn’t entirely known for when it comes to makeup!

But the thing is, Lancome has evolved considerably in recent years and many of their newer, seasonal offerings are quite youthful and fun!

The new Juicy Shaker is full of fun and cute and as far as I’m concerned that’s exactly what makeup should be about!

Lancome Juicy Shakers are available in a whopping 20 shade selection each of which has their own unique fragrance and flavor. This bi-phased lip oil shakes up like a little martini for your lips and has a cushy applicator that delivers flavor, shine, color, and moisture to lips. Just shake it a few times before applying to mix the lovely pigments with the nourishing oils before applying!

These are formulated with essential oils such as apricot, rose de muscat, cranberry, peach, and almond oils to soften, condition, protect, sooth, and plump lips.

Lancome Juicy Shakers are available now at www.lancome-usa.com and will be available soon at sephora.com and nordstrom.com as well as on counters.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The only thing that makes me hesitate on these is that they’re flavored. That’s more of a turn-off than anything, to be honest.

I cant taste anything, tehy all smell different (I have 6 already) but no taste..

  • Ashley

These sound fun, can’t wait to see all the colors in person. Such a cool concept. Anything food/ beverage related to makeup sounds good to me.

I ordered these from Spain and just LOVE them! I got Vanilla Pop and Cherry Symphony. They are really super cute and very glossy. Both are buildable. It takes about 2 coats to really get the color to POP, otherwise they are like a sheer balm. There is a fruity flavor, but it fades very fast- which I was kind of sad about because they’re YUMMY. I’m curious about your review Muse- I kinda think you might dig these!

  • Brian

I definitely want to try at least one of these! However, I have seen some Youtube reviews and the more pigmented red and berry shades seem to look like they apply splotchy and uneven on the lips. I am worried that the dual phase formula may end up fading unevenly through the day as well, similar to what happens when some glosses or balms are applied on top of matte lip colors.

    • Isabella Muse

Oh I hope that isn’t the case Brian! I’m quite curious about them and was hoping for something with color and loads of shine! Separation issue seems logical though due to the bi-phase formula 🙁

      • Anna Fantasia

I believe they are made to separate which is why they are called Juicy shakers and shaped like a martini shaker. Part of the marketing is you shake them up before you apply. I haven’t noticed any uneven fading, but they last about as long as any other gloss.

You could be right, might the Korean bitten/ombre look that’s so popular that they are going for!

The youtube reviews I’ve seen have been amazing. I love what Lisa is doing for Lancome, her designs and choices always speak to me.

    • Isabella Muse

likewise! She’s been an excellent and fun part of Lancome! I wish she’d stay out for a few years!

I had ordered a few from Lancome directly. They are less shiny than YSL’s Volupte Tint in Oil, and slightly less hydrating.
They do have a slight scent, which smells mostly like Juicy Tubes in my opinion, instead of matching the corresponding food type.
To me, they smell very strongly of alcohol (as in isopropyl, not the beverage type.)
The shades are very, very sheer.

      • Renae

Sorry, I didn’t taste them! Didn’t even think about it. I thought Good Karamel was the prettiest one though.

  • Lauren

I wan’t crazy about the colors, and was worried about uneven application and bleeding with an oil based product with a lot of pigment, so I ordered the blue minty one. If nothing else it’ll be a cute piece for my vanity. I hope they’re super hydrating!

  • Sierra Barrett

Do you know what stores are going to carry these when they are available? Sephora?

    • Isabella Muse

Right now Lancome has them exclusively. Sadly, no date yet for Sephora, Nordstrom, etc…but hopefully mid-April!

  • Nat

I’ve got one of these and they’re nice to have, but they’re not really worth the money to be honest. 🙁
