Everything They Told You About Rodial Blusher Is True

Rodial Blusher1

You might have been hearing some buzz about the new Rodial Blusher, and everything you’ve heard is likely true. You can go ahead and add this little blusher onto my awesome list as I’m currently in love with.

When I first got my hands on this little compact, I instantly flashed back to 2009 and the days of Rock and Republic Blush. At the moment said blush goes for $100 and upwards on Evil-Bay, but I remember when it was 50% off, and I’m sad to say I didn’t purchase a single shade at the time. What was I thinking!?

But I digress, this post is about my love of Rodial Blusher!

One problem, this formula is available in two shades. I’m setting on a mission to convince Rodial to created at least 20 more shades in this formula as I absolutely adore it!

Housed in a slick yet travel-friendly compact this blush weights in at 0.01 oz and features a larger face plate with Rodial’s initial decking the front cover. I tried it in the shade Copacabana which is an orange-y apricot that gives my cheeks a healthy, sunny glow. Shimmer haters rejoice! This is a smooth, satiny matte sans glitter or shimmery of any kind! The texture is smooth, soft, slightly dense yet silky. It blends flawlessly on cheeks and has a beautifully smooth, airbrushed finish. I have drier cheeks which gives blush an uneven surface to adhere to, but I experience absolutely no issues with this clinging to drier areas. With each application, I always get a super smooth, soft finish! The color is pigmented yet it applies super naturally no matter how much I apply. I have a heavier hand with blush, but I was not walking about with clown cheeks! This just applies perfectly no matter how little or how much I apply. The wear was a solid 12 hours without losing intensity.

I’m kinda in Summer blush mode at the moment and Rodial Blusher is definitely going to be top on my list this season. I love how fresh and gorgeous this looks on my cheeks and adore the long, strong wear.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This looks so beautiful and I’m such a sucker for blushes. Rodial is actually a sponsor for the makeup masterclass I’m attending next month so I have my fingers crossed a blush is include in the goody bag!
