The Sephora Minnie-ature Cream Lip Stain Set ($36) is a limited edition liquid lipstick set that launched with the Disney Minnie Beauty Makeup Collection for Spring 2016.

The Sephora Minnie-ature Cream Lip Stain Set comes housed in a collectible black and gold polka tin case. Inside you’ll find five 0.10 oz Cream Lip Stains one of which has a tiny little Minnie ear charm wrapped around it. The little charm seems a standard feature across the entire collection. You can easily remove it and use it as a zipper pull or a phone charm.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain is available in full size and some of the shades are available in in the permanent collection.
The formula is kinda comparable to Sephora’s Luster Matte Long Wearing Lip Color but it’s a lot thinner in consistency but still has the same creamy consistency and full color pay off. I’m not sure why they call it a stain as for me it’s a liquid lipstick formula. It does apply patchy on drier lips but I noticed after testing it on dry lips and again, when my lips weren’t as dry they applied a lot more smoother. They are a bit drying on lips but I didn’t feel like there were sucking all the moisture from my lips. They wore comfortably for six hours without transferring or migrating and still remaining lightweight on my lips without losing color intensity. They do have some sort of fruity flavor and fragrance so if you’re sensitive beware. As they wear away I noticed no staining effect left behind.

I liked this set a lot and it made me want to purchase a few more of the full size Cream Lip Stains! The fact that it is Minnie inspired is even better!
