Honestly, I’m not all that excited. Champagne Pop was too much on my skin.

I thought Jaclyn was coming out with her own line of cosmetics. I’d be more interested in that than this collab with Becca.

I was NOT going to buy Champagne Pop — and then I couldn’t resist the hype and did. I think it is very pretty — but seriously needs to be blended and applied with a light hand. I haven’t worn it much — but probably will more in the summer with a bit of a tan. But no, not tempted to buy anything else. Her new highlighter (in the cheek palette) is even MORE intense than CP, from what I can see. That’s a no-go for me.

    • Isabella Muse

This is one reason I never purchased it. I have a heavy hand and I’d come out of it like a disco ball! I am tempted by the eyeshadow palette!

    • Lauren

If you apply the highlight with a fluffy brush BEFORE you add blush, it is perfect. I have a few Becca highlights including Champagne Pop and I feel that that approach works really well if I want to tone them down.

  • Caroline

Ugh, I’m so annoyed that I want these so bad, but I want them SO BAD. Haha especially the face palette and the eyeshadows! I already have Champagne Pop twice (once in the full size, and a smaller pan in the holiday palette that was at Sephora), but inexplicably I feel I need these, too. What is wrong with me?!?!

Hi. My name is Caroline. And I’m addicted to makeup. 😉

  • blee

I have some of the shimmer and love them and I have my eye on the eye shadow pallet. 🙂

  • Dee

I would love to get the eye palette and the face palette. The colors are beautiful.

  • Christine

I just read on Allure’s website that this collection will be on Sephora’s site on Thursday, May 26 starting at 12 pm. Not gonna lie, have myself a reminder for that, I really want the eyeshadows! I have a Becca eyeshadow palette that I use all the time, so the $40 is worth it, I think. Fingers crossed!

  • Susan

    Nope, really doesn’t excite me.
I love the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow and the packaging is much nicer than this.

  • Terri

I’ve never been too interested in Champagne Pop because it’s just too shimmery for me. But this eye palette looks very pretty…but kinda pricey. Can’t wait to swatch it in store.

  • Melissa

I actually have two full size Champagne Pops (in case I run out or one breaks. Or some other suck tragedy!). I have used it on so many people who have gone out and bought, it I should get commission. I give it as gifts. It is simply the best highlighter I’ve ever encountered, for all skin tones. People who previously refused highlighter wear CP now. So obvi I was all over the the pallette when Sephora offered the preview. And it’s gorgeous. Gorgeous. I’ll be testing it out this evening. And I’ll be getting the liquid when it’s available as I currently mix other Becca liquid colors (bronze and opal) into my foundation to give my skin life, so it will be even better when I can add CP liquid. Yeah. I’m a Jaclyn Hill x Becca devotee!

  • Alison

Becca is getting so gimmicky, smh. Champagne pop is really played out. Why did they need another palette with this in it? They should have decreased the palette and the price by having everything but CP.

  • Mary

Is it possible the last two shades of the eye shadow palette are the same ones from the ombre rouge palette? they looks so similar. I’ll be interested to see.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m not sure! I don’t have the ombre rouge palette!

    • Elle

I was wondering the same thing! I actually went and got my ombre rouge palette to compare it to pictures. Of course the ombre rouge palette colors aren’t named, they just have numbers, but since Jaclyn said she only created one color in the eye palette, I’m willing to bet those are the same ombre rouge colors.

    • Jeana

I was thinking the same thing about the three matte colors, so I’m waiting to the palette in person before I purchase. No reason to buy a $40 palette for one color! I got a screenshot of both palettes and they look REALLY similar.

  • Kaycee’s Beauty Blog

I’ve never tried Becca highlighters before, so I was super excited about this palette! Bought it before 9AM when it released and got it in the mail today <3
