Lancome Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter

I’ll likely never use it but I might need Lancome Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter ($30) just because. You ever have those just because makeup moments? I have too many of them I fear. “Just because it’s pretty I need it!” Oh lawd!

So, Lancome Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter looking a lot like the new Bobbi Brown Shimmer Highlighter or even Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle but most importantly like Colourpop’s Blush and highlighter! Oh my god, that reminds me, my Champagne Pop haul came and I have to tell you all about it this week!

By I digress, let’s chat the rather cool, cushy, Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighters!

Lancome Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter is a new cream highlighter that contains light diffusing particles to give skin a soft glow. It has a bouncy, cushy consistency not to be likened to the cushion makeup we are currently seeing such as Lancome Cushion Blush Subtil but more along the lines of Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush.

The creamy consistency promises to melt into skin without being greasy or tacky and giving skin a natural radiance.

There are five shades to choose from which are:

  • Glowing Lights (gold mine)
  • Buff Lights (champagne gold)
  • Amber Lights (bronzed gold)
  • Rosegold Lights (roes gold)
  • Gold Lights (pure gold)

I think Rosegold Lights needs to come home with me ASAP.

Get these now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I played with these at Sephora yesterday, the package and formula were a lot like ColourPop’s highlighters…
I’d say check them out in store before indulging… I’d much rather get 3-4 Colourpop highlighters for the same amount of money. I did not find the Lancôme formula to be superior.

I was about to say “they look just like the colourpop ones, I bet they’re the same type of formula”

I have two on order right now, and can’t wait to get them, pretty sure I’m going to be in love and want the rest!

you need at least one 😉 you can use it as an eye shadow and make those brown eyes sparkle!

I’m so behind the times but i just watched a video on YT by jeffree starr and wow! does he love highlighter! i’d be surprised if he doesn’t hit pan after a couple of uses because there was a lot of glow going on.

haha ruth you’re right I do! and I love the idea of it as an eyeshadow you’re the bestest 😀 He looks plastic! I love it! 😀

so it wasn’t just me! less make-up is worn at a drag show!

He def wears heavier makeup but he works that makeup like nobody’s business. I should look that good haha ;-D But he def has a plastic look, very chiseled, very highlighted!

Oh, you’re definitely not the only one who has “I’ll never use it, but I need it” makeup moments! That’s exactly how I feel towards those Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments. I have thousands of lip balms, so if I had one, it may circulate with a few others before being used again! They’re so expensive though. This also applies to a few of the MAC lipsticks in my wish list: I may never get around to wearing them, but they’re too great not to want!

haha we need a post for this because I have too many I’ll never used but NEED dat moments 😀
