About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. So, I am just really getting in to lush products. I could die happy with Ro’s skin conditioner! I bought a few soaps…my favorite scent being sandstone. ..I just can’t help but not feel clean after using them. No suds (which I know is a good thing), but no…anything. idk. Do you have any tips?

Hm was it only sandstone you tried? As that doesn’t lather up very much! Most of the other soaps from Lush produce a nice creamy lather particularly Snowcake (only available during the Holidays) I don’t really consider sandstone a soap I’d use daily, it’s more an exfoliating soap.

I also got the honey one and the saltana of soaps. I haven’t tried saltana, but the honey one does absolutely nothing!

No kidding!? Are you letting them cure maybe before using them!? Sultana of Soaps normally lathers up great for me!
