Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Mascara

As a fan of Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Mascara is an extension to Physicians Formula bestselling Argan Wear Collection that launched for Spring 2016 which includes a long list of products including blush, lip oils, and more.

Can I just get it out of the way and say that the smell of the Physicians Formula Argan Wear is gorgeous and I really think they need to launch it in a body spray sometime soon? And yes, the mascara has the same fragrance although this might prove irritating for some users. I have admit I thought it was a rather pleasant surprise although I’m not sure how everyone will feel about it. Thankfully I didn’t experience any problems with the fragrance but it did deserve a mention for sensitive eyes.

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Mascara is actually infused with argan oil which had me intrigued. The formula promises to condition lashes as well as add shine to them due to the argan oil. I wouldn’t say my lashes were shiny or glossy but the formula feels very nice on my lashes with a lightweight, softening formula that removed easily without removing lashes in the process.

The brush is interesting helix design which I was a little worried about since it didn’t look like it would do very well grasping lashes. It kinda felt like one of those applicators that I would have to twirl as I applied. I’m one of those people that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time so asking me to twirl a mascara brush as I apply mascara proves a little difficult. This isn’t actually necessary because as you swipe the mascara on the applicator kind of twists all by itself and pulls lashes upwards and out.

I was very, very impressed with the amount of length the formula provided. I wouldn’t say there’s volume to be had here but the length was outstanding! My lashes were very, very long after a single applicator and the formula kept curl well all day without smearing or flaking on my drier eyes. Plus as I said above it removes very easily.

As I mentioned, it does have a spicy fragrance that’s very appealing to my nose but I do question how this will go over with sensitive eye users. I swear I smelled it well after I applied the mascara so I’m not sure how everyone will feel about fragrance in their mascara. I thought it rather novel if I’m being honest.

I was impressed with Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Mascara. It added beautiful, fluttery length to my lashes with an excellent wear! This is one I’d happily repurchase.

    I wonder how it would work paired with a volumizing mascara? I know some people use two different ones, one for thickening and one for length but I never have…this seems like great length though!

    Do you know any perfume/body spray, etc similar to the smell of this line? Cuz I really love it too- it reminds me of my family. Or can you at least identify what it smells like (as in what notes are in it, cuz I’m not good at figuring that out)

    I’m not usually bothered by fragrance in my cosmetics, but this was too strong for me. I feel like if I blinked too hard I would get a waft of fragrance, lol.

    What a shame PF thought that perfume would be OK in mascara, of all beauty products. I love this range and I am eager to try the mascara. Generally my eyes aren’t sensitive but still there is always a first time.

    I tried this and the tube I got seemed like the mascara dried out. I only got a light coating of mascara that didn’t do too much of anything and I ended up throwing it away. I didn’t care for the scent either. Oh well, better luck next time. Love your page, Muse, keep up the good work !
