Ruby Rose Rocking Some But Not All 100 Shades of Urban Decay Vice Lipstick

By Isabella Muse on May 3, 2016 7 Comments

in Summer Collections 2016, Urban Decay

Yup, the news broke today that 100 shades of a newly formulated lipstick is coming your way from Urban Decay! Urban Decay Vice Lipstick will be available in six finishes in a selection of 100 shades and the launch date is set to play out this June for Summer 2016.

While we wait Urban Decay teases us with a few but not all 100 shades as seen on Ruby Rose’s lips in the above video.

But of course, Ruby Rose being Ruby Rose she looks good in every single shade. Plus her super edge-y look is totally fitting for Urban Decay’s rocking personality don’t you agree?

Now, I do wish that the video was longer than a minute and we got a glimpse of every single shade on Ruby’s lips. That would make my Tuesday complete.

But hey, beggars can’t be choosy.

Now the wait begins and awaiting Vice Lipstick’s launch is a lot like waiting for Christmas to arrive.

Sigh.

Excited much?

Don’t be shy, do share!

Very cool indeed! I am thinking how Bite Beauty is going to compare to this. When I think of lipsticks at sephora, I go right to Bite. Bite better be ready to come back with 200 shades and 12 different formulas. Lol. Otherwse, those new Bouche Amuse lipsticks are gonna be old news quick.

Now I understand the sale and even in the GS sale of her launch. I don’t like to be Negative Nelly but I LOVE the blush pallet, BUT the lipsticks I’m not that crazy about. The should have done the change then. JMHO – Musey girl I was hoping to share how I really liked my UD Gwen blush pallet and I hope it’s okay to say they did a wonderful job there. The colors and the long wear I get with them. I will sample the new release tho in the lip sticks. The colors look awesome. 🙂

The “reformulation” part has me nervous, but I’m thrilled to see shades like Perversion, Junkie, and other funky colors. I also noticed they made Mrs. Mia Wallace permanent, as well as Firebird and several other of the Gwen Stefani shades. YAY!!! Hopefully, the packaging is not as cheap as the Gwen Stefani and Through the Looking Glass tubes.

Fingers crossed that my sensitive lips agrees with the new formula and that the cap does not come off in the purse.
