Urban Decay Set to Introduce 100 Shades of Vice Lipstick

It’s true! Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is upcoming to you shortly in a whooping 100 shade selection!

I think we all suspected as much when Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick went on sale for $11 bucks at Ulta.com, Sephora.com, and Macys.com but I’m not sure if anyone expected this much variety.

100 shades?

YES!

I’m screaming in delight!

Mind you, I’m not much of a lipstick girl as I prefer lipgloss but Urban Decay has been known to change my mind with shades like Gash!

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick will be available in six different finishes which include two different mattes, Mega and Comfort, as well as Cream, Metallized, Sheer, and Sheer finishes.

So yeah, it’s safe to say they’ll be a little something for everyone in this launch!

Urban Decay hasn’t shared launch date details yet but I imagine this is happening soon!

    I’m so glad they are going to keep their sheer formula. I picked up sheer liar and sheer flower-something on the $11, and I’m in love!!!! They definitely have color, but almost have a jelly finish, and are super moisturizing. I’m definitely buying more!

      Totally agree! I got Streak and Liar and love them both! I like colour on my lips but not TOO much since I love bright colours.

    I’m just so curious at how much this will cost! I mean the motherlode vault with the massive collection of full sized eyeshadows was $599 if I remember correctly. I’m guessing it is going to be around there!

      It isn’t a vault, it’s a release of 100 individual shades. I imagine they’ll be around $22-$23 each.

        Rumor has it they’re changing the metal tubes to plastic, and *lowering* the price, to $18 or so.

    I’ve been a fan of the Revolution formula since it came out and with the sale I’ve been hoarding them like crazy lol I can’t wait for this new launch!

    I just hope they aren’t permanently downgrading the packaging to the flimsy plastic of the Gwen and Alice releases. That pic above definitely makes it look like they’re trying to challenge Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss line, which isn’t a bad idea as imo KVD is their biggest competitor when it comes to the “edgy beauty” aesthetic.

    Honestly, I’m a little disappointed that it looks like they’re shifting towards the packaging from the Gwen and Alice collections; it felt a lot chintzier than the Revolution packaging, which I really like. I guess I also don’t understand the need to completely revamp something just a couple years after it was last done.

    But who am I kidding, the colors look great and I’m sure I’ll still be hauling!

      There must be a production issue of some sort. I’m disappointed too – I’m guessing these will be on par with MAC

    And didja see they’re going kind of retro with the lipstick case – it’s like the old shotgun shell look, which I just loved! I’ll bet with 100 shades, I can find one or 8 that I want…. 😀

    I find this kind of overwhelming! In just that picture, they all blend into the same colors. Unless there’s some sort of bundle deal I don’t see myself rushing to get any **disappointed sigh**

    How come I am seeing people on IG like jefferey star with an actual vault with 100 lipsticks in their ?? I want to get that so bad! Do you think they just sent it personally to him ???

      It’s a press release kit. It’s not available for retail, just something they sent to youtubers, a few bloggers, and fashion/makeup editors. It wasn’t sent to Jefferey exclusives, a few different people got it. Sadly, you likely won’t get your hands on it. I’m doubtful they’ll do a vault of that caliber. But hey, ya never know, maybe down the road one day!
