Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Stick Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi Stick

The Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Stick ($3.99) is a new illuminating, multi-use cream highlighter that can be used on eyes, face, lips, or body which launched with the Wet n Wild Summer 2016 Collection that’s available in a few shade selections.

I picked up one of these in the shade Light Up My High-Biscus since it reminded me a bit of NARS Orgasm and I thought it would make for a nice, glow-y Summer look.

Let’s take a peek!

I’m unsure if Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Sticks are limited edition but I believe they just might be! Don’t quote me though as perhaps Wet n Wild might add them to the permanent collection at some point.

These sticks come in a chubby lip balm-like packaging which twist up. Each has a pretty hibicus print that surrounds the barrel, they are 0.3 in size, and $3.99 each.

The formula is soft and quite creamy with an easy to blend formula. I dislike them on my lips and my eyes so I used them on my cheeks only. On my lips they are apply nice enough but they look quite messy on and tend to accentuate the drier areas on my lips. They also have a really bad, frosty finish. On my eyes they look kind of oily and again with a good deal of frostiness.

I used my stick with a very, very hand hand since they don’t have a ton of color unless you apply heavily. You might want to use them to add a bit of a glow to your cheeks after blush but as blush and highlighter all in one they don’t quite work unless you apply the product heavily.

Light Up My High-Biscus has a good deal of shimmer to it so applying heavily gives a very, very luminous finish. The effect is pretty but I think this much color on my cheeks is a bit too much! I’d recommend apply a smidge of cheek stain with a little dot of this on your upper cheek bone to add a touch of shimmery radiance.

I had no problem with the color adhering to my drier areas. Color applied and looks smooth and even. The wear time was a little short at around four hours before the color faded and left behind a bit of shimmer.

Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Stick is a nice, inexpensive way to get a bit of glow to cheeks. I wouldn’t expect a ton of color from this stick if you don’t apply it heavily! Stick with my suggestion and use a bit of cheek stain under it for the best, most natural look!

It does look a rather frosty 80’s shade! It doesn’t look too bad blended out on your cheeks though x

This looks very pretty on you! I think I’m gonna pass on this shade but I may grab the gold one. They seem to work better as a regular highlighter so I’m just gonna stick to what I know lol
