Bare Minerals The Bare Neutrals

Ready 8.0 fans rejoice there’s a new one available exclusively at Nordstrom. The Bare Minerals The Bare Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette for Summer 2016 is a new warm selection of Ready Eyeshadows!

This one includes:

  • Serendipitous (delicate peach)
  • Satin Cloud (creamy peach)
  • Air (satin taupe)
  • A-Ha (brown sugar)
  • Cognac (gilded bronze)
  • Namaste (sandy brown)
  • Fate (light mocha glaze)
  • Wanderlust (brown suede)

With the introduction of the Neutral Attractions and The Nature of Nudes, I felt sure Bare Minerals was headed in a new direction with their Ready Eyeshadow Palettes. But I must admit I’m glad they are still producing Ready 8.0 Palettes because I really do enjoy them.

The Bare Minerals the Bare Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. So did you buy it afterall? I’m inching closer to purchasing it…

OK so I caved, mostly because I do like the entire “neutrals” series (power, sexy, posh, suedes, etc.). I used to have all the 8.0s, but I’ve gotten rid of quite a few since they can be frosty, but the Neutrals seem to be workable.

Besides, Nordstrom has a great return policy.

Christina, would love to hear your thoughts on it once you receive it. I’m out of town this month so I’m not able to make any purchases.

I’m going to pass on this one. I’m sure it’s nice, but I don’t need any more neutrals unless there is something extra special about it.

O love Bareminerals eyeshadows but the Nature Of Nudes palette was kind of disappointing for me since is not that pigmented and the colors are so light. Im curious about this one though.

I’m a neutrals junkie — and I honestly don’t know why. I have nothing against brighter tones as long as they work with my skintone (some purples do, others don’t, and I prefer to reserve blues as liners – I still have nightmares about the light blue shadow that was so popular when I started using makeup back in the late 60s). Now that I’m retired, we live in a semi-rural area in Central Florida, where so many people don’t even bother with makeup (a lot of older women don’t bother — and that idea would make my mother spin in her grave. Until the day she died at age 87, she made sure her hair was done and her makeup was on whenever she set foot out the door) . Anyway, I’ve bought the other BE neutral palettes that have come out recently, even though I have enough eye makeup to last me three lifetimes. I really like them, and this one is saying “buy me,” — but I’m wondering about dupes from other palettes. I hate the way BE includes shadows that are in other palettes, and I don’t want to waste $40 on shades I still have plenty of.

That’s how that generation was! I sometimes wish we were more like previous decades!

She was a lot of fun. The older she got, the feistier she got. She was actually getting ready to go out for her weekly hair appointment when she had the cerebral hemorrhage that killed her. She had her makeup on and was getting dressed when it hit. She passed away the next day.

My maternal grandmother was the same way. She wouldn’t leave the house unless her shoes and bag matched, even if she was just going to the grocery store.

Do you know if this is going to be available anywhere besides Nordstrom?

Ulta has it now, too. Personally I’m not as impressed as I am with its sister 8.0, The Suede Neutrals, from QVC. Too many dark brown shades. The Suede is fantastic… Gorgeous Gold Leaf, Ivory, Satin Taupe and Air… I love duplicate shades… I bought The Sexy Neutrals because it has Celebrate (yellow cream), and the Posh Neutrals because it has Promise in it. I love their neutral trend. It keeps with the soft, polished look.
