Kiko Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush Review & Swatches
I picked up one of the Kiko Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush ($18) shades that launched with the Kiko Lovegrove Summer 2016 Collection. I’m actually kicking myself for only getting one as I love this formula. It’s a rather delightful way to add warmth as well as color to my complexion without the added dullness or an orange, muddy finish that bronzer alone sometimes gives me.
The powder is actually made up of three different shades that when blended together add warmth, radiance, and color to skin.
Take a look!
I can’t express enough my joy with the Lovegrove Collection’s packaging. I adore rose gold anything and this collection was just packaged so darn beautifully! The Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush comes in a stunning rose gold compact with a generously sized mirror. It’s a compact you’ll feel quite fancy pulling out of your purse to touch up with.
This is a baked formula with a smooth, silky consistency that glides onto skin smoothly and evenly without clinging to drier areas. It blends out to sheer, natural perfection and contains three gradating shades of color that go from a darker terracotta to a bronze-y tan, to a lighter radiant peach. Used together the colors are a dusky warm peach on my skin tone that looks very natural and sunny!
This is one of those powders you’ll want to pick up if you hate bronzers. I know I’m personally not a bronzer fan girl because it tends to dull out my skin and many are awful orange or muddy shades. This compact contains three very flattering shades that act to add warmth but also wearable color to your complexion. One thing that does deserve mentioning which I love was the fact that the powder has a subtle vanilla fragrance. I loved this but sensitive users might not love the fact that the powder is scented!
All in all, another fine pick up from Kiko who rarely disappoints!
