Now, I’m also in love with the new Sephora Rouge Balm! This is a new gel lipstick that Sephora recently launched that has a super creamy, hydrating texture. If you love that formula you’re sure to enjoy NYX Plush Gel Lipstick which is a thinner, slicker consistency with excellent color pay off.
NYX Plush Gel Lipstick comes in a thin, long slimmed barrel that holds 0.05 oz of product. It’s a nice, compact packaging that stores and travels easily. It’s also very easy to apply so, if you don’t have a mirror it’s an easy swipe and go kind of formula. Mind you, I prefer using a mirror but if I don’t have one this is easy to swipe on.

I simply love lipstick formulas like this as with Summer here it’s an ideal pick for light, weightless color with a hydrating finish. The formula has a slick, easy glide on lips and drenches them in gorgeous pigment. I only tried one shade but it packed plenty of pigment with excellent color pay off on a single swipe. The formula glides on like butter with a lightly hydrating texture. I never had an issue with the color falling into my lip lines and it had an excellent smooth, even finish that didn’t migrate. The formula remains pleasantly moist through the where with a slightly shiny finish initially that lasts for about two hours into the four hour wear time. I noticed a slight fragrance and flavor that was a bit fruity but it fades quite quickly!
I’m a lover of lightweight lipstick formulas and NYX Plush Gel Lipstick is exactly that. Slick, shiny, color rich, with a thin, easy to wear hydrating formula this lipstick isn’t to be missed.
