Obsessed with Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads

Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads

East meets west with these brand new Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads ($4.99) that are one of several brand new facial complexion products that Kleenex released a few short months ago. Kleenex is a brand we’ve associated and possibly trusted our noses for years. There super soft tissues are a staple on my desk in the Winter! But now Kleenex is branching out into the beauty world with some fun and exciting skincare tools and products.

If you know me you know I’m obsessed with Shiseido Facial Cloth and Suzuran Lily Bell Patting Cotton Puffs. Well, actually, I’m just obsessed with any Asian facial and cotton cloth really. Don’t get me wrong, I like Swisspers as much as the next person but I always found Japanese cotton much sturdier and stronger!

Until now! I’m utterly obsessed with these new Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads. They not only do a great job removing makeup but you can multitask using them in a variety of ways with your favorite skincare products.

Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads are massive! These are three times the size of a regular larger size cotton pad from the leading brands. They are just huge which makes me beyond happy because I can use one pad to remove makeup on both my eyes! The thinner texture and micro-fine fabric gives them a soft feel but they are very sturdy so, they don’t rip or tear during use. This is extra helpful if you plan on using them to wash your face with. Yes, I said wash your face! You can squirt a dab of your favorite cleanser onto this pad use it to wash your face. They are that strong. I personally soak two pads in very, very, very hot water and I remove my Lush Ultra Bland or my Pixi Cleansing Balm using the warm, wet pad. This saves me from using a washcloth and doing laundry ha!

I’ll do my little infomercial bit for you, but wait there’s more!

These are perfect for use with your favorite micellar water. The thinner fabric doesn’t completely absorb the water plus one pad will remove all your makeup! You can also saturate them with your favorite essence and create a mask out of them. I saturate four pads completely with Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid or Sana Hadanomy Lotion and place them on both my cheeks, my forehead, and my chin and use them as a facial mask. You can also use them to apply toner or remove your nail polish. Hell, if you’re traveling you can even smooth on foundation with them to save yourself the trouble of packing sponges and brushes.

I sound like a commercial but I just really love these. Kleenex did an excellent job bringing facial cloth to the US market. It’s a trend that hasn’t really caught on the US but I’m very, very happy to see it now easily available here in the US.

If you’re looking for the ultimate cotton pad for not only makeup removal but a variety of other uses, don’t hesitate to grab up a box of these! You get 85 of them for $4.99!

Kleenex Cotton Soft Pads are available now at store.kleenex.com and I hope to see them in drugstores soon!

I’ve been looking everywhere in Canada for these and the others in the facial line, any idea where I might find them or when?

    • Isabella Muse

I’m not sure Chanty! I haven’t even seen them in stores here in the US as of yet! Just online! Does Kleenex ship internationally?

  • Alicia

Thank you! I’m nearly out of my sheseido ones. Can’t wait to try these out.

  • Z

Nice! I am looking for new cotton pads that doesn’t leave cottons all over my face xD, will pick this up next time. Thanks Muse!

  • Dia

At first glance, I thought they were pantyliners 🙂
They look like they would work great for removing glitter nail polish that usually shred my CVS cotton rounds. At 85 for $5, they’re a bit steep for applying toner or eye makeup removing solvent.

    • Jane

We should try pantiliners for masks. My husband might wonder what’s going on though.

    • Heidi

Ha. I thought the same thing. But a bigger pad would be handy. I found some larger ones on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond, and it is nice to just use one or two to remove nail polish, etc.

  • Maria

Thanks Muse. I have to look for these. I hope drugstore dot com has it.

  • Jane

I will try these when they hit the drugstores, but I feel opposed to paying shipping for facial pads. 😛

Hey Muse I just wanted to let you know what just happened for me on the Kleenex site.

So if you take a quick simple survey on the Kleenex site you are sent (immediately) a $5 gift card code to use on their site.

I took the survey simply because I was bored and thought eh, why not get that $5. I ended up adding a package of the shine blot sheets for $4.99 added the gift card code and thought I’d be basically getting the $5 shipping for free and then I would just be paying for the blotting sheets….BUT the code ended up giving me the $5 and FREE shipping! So I literally am getting to try the blotting sheets for free!

Thought your followers might like to know that even if they want a higher priced item , by taking the survey and using the code they are going to get a fantastic bargain!

      • Isabella Muse

THANKS Carrie! 🙂 This is so helpful because everyone was a little worried about the shipping cost!

  • vela

Yes, if these hit any of my local stores they may be a great deal, but for now it’ll actually work out cheaper to keep buying Shiseido online!

  • Bailey

Did these leave lint on your face at all? I use the cotton pads from Target and they are usually $2.99 for 100 pads (there’s usually a Cartwheel deal, too) and I use quite a few per day. They usually tear or leave lint all over my face as I use them for my micellar water, toner, nail polish removal, etc. If these don’t molt, I will be chomping at the bit to buy them! The price seems reasonable for the quantity/size plus I can cut them in half if I need to.

    • Isabella Muse

nooo! thank god! I hate that! Drive me nuts to pick up stray pieces of cotton off my eyes and face haha!

  • Chase

I just bought some!! I usually use DHC Facial Cotton because they have a place you can insert your fingers to hold on to the pad. I was thinking about trying this with my SK-II but I can’t decide. I usually just use my palms. These would work well with Bioderma. Thanks for reviewing. You sold me on them.

    • Isabella Muse

haha Chase my pleasure! LMK what you think after trying!

  • Kimkats

I gotta agree with Jane – when theses hit the store I will likely try them all! I had no idea that Kleenex was making skin care items, and they all look pretty nice! I just can’t bring myself to pay for shipping on a drugstore item…. Dumb, huh?

      • kimkats

I did the survey, but no coupon code thing showed up! >:( It’s been several hours since I filled out the survey… Hmph… Looks like I’m doomed to wait for ’em to show up in stores!

      • Jes

Actually, I put 1 in my cart, and added the survey coupon. It totaled up as free 🙂 They didn’t even require a credit card number!

  • StellaDiva

I normally bring my microfiber cloth along when I travel but I might try these.

  • Christina

PSA – If you take a short survey on the Kleenex website, you get a $5 coupon via email; that basically zeros out the shipping cost.

  • Katie

I’m excited to try these! I also did the survey and got $5 AND free shipping! So I bought 2 boxes for $5.32 all said and done. Score!

  • martine

Yaay!!! Same as above. Took their survey got them for free. No shipping charges.
    Awesome..

    Thanks
