As you know designer, Mara Hoffman, collaborated with Sephora on an accessory and makeup line that launched earlier this Summer which is available for a limited time. One of my favorite pieces from the collection is the Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm. I rarely do backup purchases lately because my stash is huge and it’s difficult to actually finish anything. I’m sure you know the struggle is real.

The exception to the rule would be the Mara Hoffman for Sephora Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm. I can’t be without this lippie in my life. I need at least two backups!

Sephora Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm

This lovely little lip balm come housed in a colorful, limited edition packaging that decorates the barrel which was created by Mara Hoffman. Mara’s prints are well known for their inspirations and playfulness taken from nature and mythology.

I love, love this formula. It’s a hybrid between a lipstick, a lip balm, and a treatment balm. It has a smooth, lightweight texture with an easy glide on lips that’s has a moisturizing lightly balmy consistency with a high sheen finish. The color is simply gorgeous! It’s a brown based pink that gives me a nice MLBB (my lips but better) finish. Not only does it looks great but it keeps my lips pleasantly moist through the four hour wear. The color never migrated or dried out and felt completely comfortable and very light through the wear. It also manages to keep its sheen for a good two hours after application.

I just adore lip formulas like this. They aren’t brutal on my drier lips, they give a nice hint of sheen, plenty of color, plus keep my lips nicely hydrated!

Mara Hoffman for Sephora Kaleidescape Tinted Lip Balm is well worth a pick up if you like no nonsense lip products that combine color and moisture into a lightweight, easy to wear formula.

    How would you say the formula compares to the IT Vitality lip flush? The description sounds similar. I am SO tempted.

      Very similar! The color isn’t the same but the consistency is! It has that slick balminess that feels lightly hydrating 🙂
