Milk Makeup Holographic Stick for Strobing I Don’t Need

Milk Makeup Holographic Stick

You can file Milk Makeup Holographic Stick under makeup I don’t really need but I just want because it looks cool and stuff. As a complete and utter Star Trek fan girl I can’t help but feel like this is something you’d find in Uhura’s makeup bag! Uhura would totally be on board with the strobing trend!

This gel highlighter stick can be used on cheeks, lips, eyes, or even your body to create a gorgeous holographic finish. Apparently, it’s loaded with meteorite powder, see I told you Uhura would dig it, as well as twilight pearls that create a prismatic effect. It’s actually formulated with mango butter and avocado oil which gives it an easy glide on skin and even hydrates lightly. P.S. the color is a hyped up iridescent lavender, I have a feeling if I didn’t sell you on it before that the mention of purple had to capture your attention. Am I right?

I so don’t need it but I kind of want it. Let’s not forget I tend to avoid highlighters as they are like a disco ball for my fuller face! Ahhh the life of a makeup addict.

Available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I can’t highlight much because I’m oily – but yeah that is totally something Uhura would rock! She was such an amazingly gorgeous woman. My daughter and I always admire her makeup when we watch Star Trek! And her skin, wow!

Uhura was one of my favorite characters, to this day Nichelle is a stunningly beautiful woman! 🙂

Makeup Revolution makes 2 colors of strobe balms that look similar to this but stronger. They are good dupes for the Pat McGrath highlighters, and around $6.

A couple of years ago Nars had a limited edition Multiple that was an iridescent purple highlighter. I needed it so bad and I was never able to get it. If this is anything like that I will buy 5!

I don’t even use highlighter, but your description makes me want it right NOW. Checking Sephora….

I have oily skin and a round full face so I don’t do any highlighting/strobing at all. When I see some instagram pictures of highlighted faces, I tend to cringe because a lot look overdone and I just want to give them blotting papers because their faces look oily/greasy to me.

I don’t need more highlighters, I don’t need more highlighters, I don’t – oh, who am I kidding, yes I do! This just looks so cool!
