Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid and Liner Primer

I can’t say I have oily lids but no worries I have my own set of skincare issues to contend with! But those who do have oily lids might want to check out Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid and Liner Primer ($12) which is a powder eye primer that creates a smooth, matte surface for eyeliner and eyeshadow to adhere to. Basically it absorbs excess oil so, eyeshadows apply more easily plus they have a smooth finish to adhere to which results in longer wear and less creasing.

Yes, I’m already thinking what you’re thinking. I read minds as a hobby. You’re thinking plain old powder will do the same thing.

My thoughts exactly!

🙂

But I will say that I’m intrigued by this product because I was wondering if it might work as a brightening base or even a setting powder and brighten for concealer?

Hmmmmm!

It might not come home with me for the mattifying action but it might just come home with me if it proves brightening at all!

Get it at Sephora.com.

UGH if only I wasn’t such a sucker for anything that promises a *smooth, even base* on the eyes. I just can’t get enough of the brightening effect that has!

I am curious to know what the texture of this is like and if it is just like a normal eyeshadow (runs to find Wet n Wild Brulee eyeshadow just in case).

I’m very intrigued about this because I have oily lids and is always on the hunt for a good eye shadow primer
