Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Therapy 3

The limited edition Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Therapy ($4.99) arrived at Walgreens this month! Keep your eyes peeled if you’re a fond fan of Vaseline Lip Therapy as this new flavor will only be around for a limited time.

Originally introduced in the UK and available exclusively at Selfridges, Vaseline Pink Bubbly quickly gained a cult following. I know myself and many fans of the original Vaseline Rosy Lips formula were terribly excited about the launch of Pink Bubbly and terribly sad it was in the UK only. I’m very happy to report it’s launch here in the US now!

Vaseline Lip Therapy Pink Bubbly

First thing I said to myself upon seeing the new Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Therapy, “OMG Juicy Couture!” The cute pink packaging is quite chic and totally reminds me of Juicy with its black and gold accents!

I’ve always been a rather fond fan of Vaseline for my lips as it locks in moisture, hydrates my drier lips, and gives them a hint of a shine. Heck, I’ve even admitted to using Vaseline on my face! It’s just a great way to restore and retain moisture. This new formula contains champagne grape extract that gives it a lovely floral fizzy fragrance. Honestly, if you hate fragrance or flavor in your lip products this is probably not for you. It does have a fizzy effervescent note but I wouldn’t say it tasted quite like champagne but more like a fizzy fresh perfume-y taste and fragrance. At first, I didn’t like it but I’m slowly getting used to the taste now!

Vaseline Pink Bubbly

The color is a paler pink but it applies sheerer and leave lips with a high shine finish. It’s something I tuck onto my end table and use before I head to bed so, that I wake up with soft, hydrated lips. Or if you have issues with matte lipsticks or drier lipstick formula this is a great product to prep with so they apply more smoother! You can even mix it with loose powder blushes to create a dewy cream blush for Summer.

I have no doubt Vaseline Lip Therapy lovers are going to adore Pink Bubbly.

Get it now exclusively at Walgreens.

Is it available in stores? I went to one by me and they never even heard of it.

It launched in stores July 3rd but I don’t have a list of exact stock/location. You might have to check a few walgreens or wait, as sometimes they don’t stock right away. But it will be exclusively at walgreens stores for sure.

Right after i asked my bf suggested another walgreens that was on our way home and they had two left!

It launched in the UK originally and I actually thought we’d never see it so I wouldn’t write off Canada, I don’t have a launch date but hopefully it will make its away to you!

I wouldn’t hold your breath on this ending up in Canada! Our country seems to get “ripped off” when it comes to limited and special edition things, just like the Chapstick slurpee editions!

WOW! It took 2-3 years before it got launch in the US?! I remember when i first saw this on a a photo from someone’s blog and I fell in love with the packaging design (& of course the unusual flavor). I just gotta have it so I immediately surf the web to find where to get it. Alas! it was only available in the UK. but, luckily you can always count on ebay, and I got my hand on it eventually. They also had the creme brulee flavor, so that was a bonus. Time to raid Walgreens now to replenish my supply. Thanks for the tip Ms Muse!

It took ages to release here! I have the Creme Brulee 😀 that’s def a good one! I was too cheap to purchase it on ebay as it was always 12 bucks or more, I felt like that was crazy! Thankfully I waited haha! I got a press sample and last week I got a back up at Walgreens for $3.49! score!

Good to know it’s at Walgreens, my sister will LOVE THIS.

  • Pamela

Did you find this on the lip therapy aisle or was it on display somewhere? I always have a hard time locating the limited edition lip products.

This one is a press sample but the one I purchased was located right by the skincare stuff, on a little tray. My walgreens has a burts bees section and a shea moisture skincare section and right between there they have the vaseline lip therapy and nivea tins.

This reminds me of champagne so of course I need to spend my hard earned money on it! (because I might be a late twenty-something child :P)

I just got the last one at my local Walgreens!! I’m so excited to try it The girl that was working in the cosmetic department said they will be getting more since there is a permanent spot for them next to the other Vaseline lip care products!!!

I’ve used the Aloe and Rose Vaseline glosses before and really liked them. I definitely want to try this one!

I picked one up the other day when I was waiting for my RX and used it last night. It smells nice but it tastes…not so nice lol. I don’t think it tastes anything like champagne, and is more like perfume. But I will use it up because it’s vaseline with a wine extract.

  • Sara

Just picked this up today. I don’t get any champaign notes, or taste..but it’s definitely ROSE…as in the flower. ..scented. Bummer.
