Armani Compact Cream Concealer

The Armani Compact Cream Concealer ($42) has arrived my dry eyes are terribly sad. Armani’s cream concealer is available in six shades and it promises full coverage.

Problem?

It’s a matte finish! It’s also created for spot concealing. Matte finish, spot concealing, yeah, this one isn’t for under eye use dry or not.

And I has such a sad!

Darn!

But if you’re oily and seeking a matte facial concealer you might want to try this one. It’s available now at Sephora.com.

P.S. I’m hearing the new Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme is terribly dry, thick, and cakey! I has another sad! It released while I was on vacation and I was tempted to pop it into my cart when I got back but I said to myself I’d wait and see how things panned out. I know, abnormal of me to wait for anything especially new concealers. But anyway, I said, ah, I’ll wait! I’m kind of glad I did as I think it might be something I need to try out in store before I decide if I need it or not. I’m a fan of the original formula so, I thought the new formula would be a no brainer pick up! But the reviews are a little iffy. I already have drier eyes and adding more dryness under them isn’t part of my concealing game plan. Oddly enough, I’m getting on rather famously with Tarte Shape Tape which is also matte but still has a smooth finish under my eyes. Has anyone tried it yet? Do share your thoughts! Curious if you like it or not!

I have got to try that shape tape!! I have drier under eyes too and I was really excited for the Kat Von d and I had a promo code for a free deluxe size from Sephora and it was so dry and hard to blend!! I think it’s up there with one of the worst ever for me!!!

Muse – I picked up the VIB sample of the Kat Von D concealer and I shockingly like it! I loathe the idea of buying anything from that brand but this was a freebie, so I thought I’d give it a try. It does kind of “dry down” but it give excellent natural-looking coverage and the colors are flexible. I would give it a try – you never know.

I def need to at the very least swatch it in store! It sounds great!

Why not make a solid concealer for under the eyes? Literally 30 years ago Lauder made one, which I only know because my grandmother owned it and I LOVED it. I was so disappointed when I got to makeup age and it was DQ’d.

I work for sephora, that being said I’ve had plenty of experience using the kat von d concealer on clients. I think it’s great for spots and brightening but not for under eyes personally.
I also think many pepole are forgetting there’s more to conceal than just under the eyes.

I’m one of those people! I don’t need concealer coverage on my face so, typically I’m always quick to judge concealer on how well it works under my eyes. I’m so one of those people 😀
