too faced papa don't preach blush

Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush has the Internet going crazy at the moment since Jerrod Blandino leaked a little sneak peek of it on his Instagram. It appears the Sweet Peach Palette along with Papa Don’t Peach Blush will return for the Spring 2017 as early as February and along with it a very special Too Faced x Kat Von D Collection as well which makes Spring a mighty busy time for Too Faced Cosmetics. Oh and who can forget about to Too Faced Peach Glow Palette everyone is gagging over!

“You will remember what your father forgot…” or in this case I’ll remember what the Internet seems to have forgotten.

Picture this, Too Faced Summer 2009, the brand releases three shades of Pinch My Petals Blush! One of the shades included with that launch as you may know already or might have guessed would be, Papa Don’t Peach.

I hope and I pray that it isn’t the same shade. The images Jerrod teased us with appear to be a little more Benefit Coralista looking in all honesty. I’m hoping Too Faced hasn’t just reformulated the shade that originally released and slapped it in some new packaging. Right now, Papa Don’t Preach is looking like a really pretty orange-y coral but one can never tell with poor quality Insta-pics because as I recall the Sweet Peach looked a lot more peachy than it actually was. Am I right?

To me it looks like a new, original shade of blush! I sure hope I’m right!

What do you think?

New formula, new shade, new packaging?

Or new formula, old shade, new packaging?

Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach arrives for Spring 2017 and should be available at toofaced.com, sephora.com, and ulta.com. I’ll update with more info as it becomes available.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Maybe there will be multiple shades with the Papa Don’t Peach packaging? I have Coralista, so I don’t need a dupe of that! But that tin is oh-so-cute!

  • Dee

To be honest Too Faced wasn’t on my radar back then! But I like the pics here, and if this is similar to Coralista I’m in! On the other hand, if this is LE like the Sweet Peach Palette and it’s sold out, then back in stock for 1 min and then sold out again…No. lol

Oooohhhh…. I’m hoping it’s just a trick of the lighting that it looks more like Coralista b/c I LOVE Papa Don’t Peach!! I have it with a bronzer in a sorta duo thingy…. Imma be all over this if it’s the same shade it was!! OOOOOO!!!! Will be waiting with bated breath to see if it’s the same shade as original!! Thanks for the heads up Muse!! 😀

The packaging looks a little…childish..and you’re absolutely right, Insta pics can be very deceiving. Awesome of you to pull out the “vintage” pic lol I had no idea the other blushes ever existed! But If the launch is even remotely like the first Sweet Peach launch, count me out! There are too many products coming out to play those games again.

Had Papa Don’t Peach, wore the hell out of it, loved it. Fast forward many years to now and I find myself wishing they would do this one again without the shimmer. At my age now, shimmer on the face is a big ole nope. That’s why I also had to part ways with Orgasm.

  • Jennifer

Oh no, not with the too faced peach again!! There was mayhem trying to get the palette, and it was a let down. And I love too faced. I guess there will be just as craziness with the blush. Hope it delivers. Cute packaging.

I have one of the Too Faced holiday palettes from 2014 (Everything Nice), and it has Pappa Don’t Preach in it

Are we able to prepurchase any of the products? Also is the peach eye palette available?

    • Isabella Muse

No, unfortunately not. The peach eye palette was already available but out of stock and returning apparently with the Spring 2017 Collection!

  • Lorraine. E.R

Ehhh…I don’t think it’s outrageous that it might be the same shade. That was 8 years between releases and the average makeup enthusiast isn’t going to remember or still have/use a blush from that long ago….I think.
I use makeup for a long time, I have a 3 year old blush & a 5 year old shadow palette but idk 8 yrs seems like a long enough time that re-releasing isn’t too crazy IMO. I bet the brand has some fans that weren’t even old enough to be buying makeup when it came out the 1st time.
Idk. *shrug* I can see it different ways.

This blush doesn’t excite me nearly as much as the Peach Glow Palette! Mostly just because I love pie and I find the novelty interesting lol.

    • Isabella Muse

Do you mean the eyeshadow palette? The Sweet Peach Palette is making a return, no exact date, but it is assumed for Spring 2017 if that’s what you’re talking about 🙂

  • kellly

That darker shade looks awesome! I’m going to be on the lookout for this!!

  • Shellz

Papa don’t peach was also in the Everything Nice holiday 2014 palette. Wondering if they will be the same formulation?

    • Isabella Muse

It was indeed! Forgot about that! I’m curious if the shade and formula will be the same!

  • ame

So this blush looks a lot darker and shimmerier than the original. But that recollection is fuzzy.

    • Isabella Muse

agreed! The original was a bit more tan! I hope that this image is accurate because it looks quite gorgeous!

  • Zovesta

I loved the packaging of the original. Not so big on TF’s overly cutesy looks rather than the coyness they used to have going on. =/ Other than that, still looks like a pretty shade for a lot of skin tones.
