Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow

Did you hear that noise? It’s me squealing like a piglet! I have to admit the idea of a cream version of Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow has me excited!

Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow ($22) is a new creamy liquid version of the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow formula. These gorgeous shades have microfine bits of iridescent sparkle that give up a 3-D metallic diamond-like finish. Urban Decay launched them in eight different shades and promises the formula is lightweight, cool, and easy to apply and build upon while wearing comfortable on eyelids. You can even use them on your lash line as an eyeliner of sorts.

Shades include:

  • Chem Trail (oyster with iridescent sparkle)
  • Zap (gold with tonal sparkle)
  • Spacetime (deep coppery bronze with iridescent sparkle)
  • Recharged (peach with pink shift & sparkle)
  • Solstice (pink-red with green 3-D sparkle & shift)
  • Vega (bright blue with iridescent sparkle)
  • Zodiac (smoky black w/blue-green shift & blue-green 3-D sparkle)
  • Magnetic (purple with iridescent sparkle)

    OMG these are gorgeous! I love cream eyeshadow and metallic cream eyeshadow to boot? I must have them all too, but I hope they show up at Ulta because I have 2,000 points which is $125 to blow and these would be the ticket.

      I have been calling every Ulta around me in search of the liquid moondust. Ulta told me they were made specific for Sephora only! I went to Sephora (which is a store I don’t like) and they had no clue what I was talking about till I showed them online. They order 2 more colors for me and they pick up the shipping. I had ordered and received one previously from Sephora.com prior to going to the store to look for more. I got zodiac. I promise you, it is everything you want and more!!! It’s beautiful, drys quickly, and has great color. It also does not move or fade ALL day long. Unfortunately, it’s got to come from Sephora. They do offer free shipping if you spend over $50. But that’s the only way to get it. Urbandecay.com doesn’t even have it!! Good luck!!

    Yes Muse! I need these on my life! I am so ecstatic with my solstice moondust single and my moondust palette. I cannot wait for these! I just wish the moondust line had more duochromes.

    Musey!! You know, I read you every day but don’t comment as much as I should. Or, maybe I just save my comments for the posts that are really important. Like this one. I tried these on Saturday at my local Sephora inside JCP. I had taken my best friend to the mall to get her color matched for foundation at Ulta. We moseyed on down to Sephora and discovered they had an Urban Decay event going on, and I insisted that my BFF get her eyes done. She’s a makeup virgin!! Anyway, while her eyes were being glamourized, I saw the Moondust liquid shadows and swatched them on the back of my hand. These are so incredibly gorgeous. Sparkly and long wearing, they remind me of the UD Cream Eyeshadows from back in the day. The ones that I loved the most were Zodiac ( so much depth & color interplay), Vega (saturated blue goodness), and Spacetime (IMHO, the most sparkly of all!). You can apply these thick for BAM!!, or you can sheer them out for a delicate, work appropriate sparkle. These are a must have!
