April Skin Magic Stone

You may have heard of April Skin Magic Stone Black as well as the original Magic Stone Facial Soaps as both are popular due to the fact that Korean skincare has suddenly carved a major grove into the US market. Everyone seems to be obsessed with Korean skincare at the moment which as far as I’m concerned is a good thing. I’ve been using Korean skincare for around 10 years or more now and I have to admit the fact that I can so readily get my hands on items faster than every before is delightful.

One such product that becomes increasingly easy to find is April Skin Magic Stone soap!

Here’s how I use April Skin Magic Stone Black in the morning doe a deep cleanse!

April Skin Magic Stone Soap comes in two different formulas one of which can be used in the day and one of which can be used at night. I actually don’t use the nightly soap because I double cleanse and use a host of other items in the evening to get my face nice and clean. In the morning, I’m a little bit more lazier about my cleansing routine and I’m not as concerned with what I use on my face. One reason is because my face is already very clean from my nightly routine already and secondly, I’m not a morning person so, I want to cleanse my face and I want to do it quickly and April Skin Magic Stone Black not only gets my face clean but so deeply cleansed that my entire complexion looks brighter. See? If that isn’t reason enough to buy it I don’t know what is.

April Skin Magic Stone Black

This comes in a round chunk and contains a host of incredible ingredients like Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Charcoal which draws out makeup and gunk from pores, Sunflower Seed Oil, Hyaluronic acid, and much, much more. It does have an light, herbal scent which I find pleasant but deserves a mention for sensitive users.

Most people rave this little bar of soap because it is apparently very gentle on skin. I like it because it deeply cleanses but never strips my skin. In the morning, after my shower, I head over to the sink, work up a lather with the soap, and apply it all over my face. I gently massage it in and after I wait 30 to 60 seconds before I rinse. I’m always so delighted how clean and bright my skin looks after using it. It has a very slick feel on my skin with a glycerin-like feel. It’s very slippery and slick as you lather up with it. It washes completely away and leaves my skin very soft and supple. Too many times I use cleansers that make my skin feel tight, dry, and two sizes too small. I never have that issue when I use the Magic Stone. This is one reason I completely ditches all my AM cleansers and replaced it with this little soap. But most importantly, I keep using it because I like how deeply it cleanses my skin and how much brighter my skin appears!

If you double cleanse in the evening the original Black Stone might also be something you wish to add to your cleansing routine. I double cleanse but I don’t use the nightly bar myself however, for the past year I’ve been considering doing so since the AM bar works so well for me.

All in all, if you’re looking for a deeper cleanse that gives your dull complex a brighter, healthier appearance I can’t rave the April Skin Magic Stone Black enough!

Hmm this sounds like a cheaper alternative to the drunk elephant cleansing bars. Might have to pick these up.

I haven’t tried those yet! I’m sad because I was away during the 20% off sale and I meant to login and grab some stuff but I had rather craptastic Internet where I was :-/ damn!

I got the travel size set during the dermstore sale a few weeks ago, and so far I like the peekee bar quite a bit, but I’m still trying to get used to the the idea of exfoliating in the morning with the juju bar. So far I don’t love them enough to justify the $28 price tag of each of the full size bars. These bars sound like a more possible alternative.

I think cleanser bars in general take some getting used to! 😀 I know Paula Begoun raves the peekee bar!

Have you tried swiping your brushes across and seeing how well it does?

Oh I love this bar. I already bought a back up. I like to use it at night it takes off all my face makeup except mascara, cuz it burns like crazy if u get this in your eyes. As long as u take off eye makeup first it’s fine. This bar and then a sheet mask after equals amazing skin. I had to go out the other morning with no makeup on and I had several people compliment me on how nice my skin is. The lady at the bank said it looked like porcelain lol

that’s A LOVELY compliment 🙂 I agree, it stings like crazy ouch! I typically use it in the morning after my shower and before I apply makeup or skincare and my skin looks so bright and less dull after!
