Bite Beauty Mistletoe Amuse Bouche Lipstick for Holiday 2016 brings to mind Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and Brenda Lee. So, yeah, apparently my mom’s eldest sister or great aunt or someone went to school with Brenda Lee? It’ll pop up on the radio and suddenly my mom goes off on a tangent about how someone in our family went to school with Brenda Lee. It’s one of the most ridiculous stories I ever heard because she was born in the South and I see no record of her every moving to New York. Where do these weird family stories come from!????

Yeah, so, that’s my weird-o Holiday story of the day for ya.

But the real start of this post is the new Bite Beauty Mistletoe Amuse Bouche Lipstick!

Let me tell you, Bite Beauty is one of the brands that does red right. I have so many perfect shades of red from them! All of which happen to NOT make me look like a clown thanks so much! And by the way, any chance we’ll get a Bite Beauty Lip Lab Limited Release Lipstick Set this year like we did last year for Cyber Monday? Maybe not a Lab Limited Set but maybe an Amuse Bouche one!? Pretty please? With a mistletoe on top!

This limited edition shade promised to be a rich Holiday red with a creamy, pigmented finish that provides smooth color pay off in a single swipe!

It’s available now and likely will sell out fast come the Sephora Holiday Sale so get it now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Love Bite, but this looks to lean too pink already, and since I oxidize so many lipsticks that direction, pass. More for the dedicated Biters out there!

I’m actually piqued by this. I need a replacement for my “perfect red” lipstick ever since Bite discontinued their VIB Rouge shade. And mine is low. I always wear a red lip for a night out!

I love VIB Rouge and I’m hoping this is actually some sort of dupe of it!

Hope that Bite brings back the cute mini lip crayons and double sided lipsticks like last year!

I tried this brand recently and I love it so much. I use a Gazpacho red. Love it❤❤❤ .

I wish Bite would post swatches of it! I was gonna buy Gazpacho but if this one is similar I’d rather buy it because of the cute cap design lol

I just bought it yesterday. I’m worried because I normally wait for swatches online but can’t seem to find any yet. I’ll let you know how it compares to VIB Rouge but I don’t have Gazpacho to compare it to (which I was going to purchase originally before Mistletoe came out to replace my rapidly disappearing VIB Rouge shade).

I haven’t purchased yet, had it in my cart but didn’t submit yet! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Got it yesterday! Okay, so on my hand, Mistletoe swatches more of a brick red versus VIB Rouge, which is a bright red. However, on my lips, they look pretty similar. Enough so that I am happy to use it as a replacement for my VI B Rouge. Hope that helps!
