I put The Body Shop Fresh Nude Cushion Foundation on my “to be tried list” because I am seriously having a bad case of Sephora Wonder Cushion withdrawal. I have been looking for a replacement for Sephora’s cushion for a while now because it truly turned into a fav of mine. Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation comes close to it but I’m still searching for a formula exactly like it.

I don’t get why it appeared and disappeared so quickly. Sephora released it in January and it disappeared in less than a month of its debut! It was such a light, lovely fluid cushion with natural coverage and a breathable formula.

Maybe The Body Shop Fresh Nude Cushion will be a good dupe?

Available in five shade selections this new cushion makeup promises 24 hours of moisture and a buildable, semi-matte formula that give skin a natural finish. Apparently it contains Aloe Vera and Marula Oil as well long lasting color pigments!

Truly Sephora’s Wonder Cushion embodied good cushion foundation so I have high hopes maybe the Body Shop’s formula will be as lovely!

What’s your fav cushion at the moment?

I’m looking forward to the Maybelline Cushion finally landing in the US. I’m waiting patiently for its arrival.

The Body Shop Fresh Nude Cushion is $27 bucks and available now at www.thebodyshop-usa.com.

I totally agree with you about how weird it was that Sephora’s cushion just disappeared so quickly! I totally wanted to try it, and I only saw it in the store literally one time, and then never saw it again! I LOVE the physicians one too because it is more of a matte formula, and I’ve read that most cushions tend to have a dewy finish (which is why I haven’t tried the loreal one.) Have you tried the Clinique one?

Hi @Isabella Muse, you must try the Body Shop Fresh Nude Cushion Foundation. That’s definitely a BOMB. I have oily combo skin which draws me back to use any cushion, especially ones that came from Korean brands because most of the products are too moisturizing, some feels thick, and makes my face oilier in just 3 hours after application.

But this product is really good. For coverage, I would say it has light to medium coverage. It’s easy to build up the coverage since a single tap on the cushion will only take a decent amount of product. The great thing is I don’t need to use any loose/ compact powder to set it and it seems that the product itself control the oil on my face. I never looked oily or anything. And the color is not oxidizes. Already use it for almost a week and I can’t find any cons of the products. There’s a cool sensation when first apply, I guess it might be because of the English rose water in the ingredients list.

I am really digging the Mally cushion in the recent TSV despite no SPF. Been using the Tarte SPF primer or the Perricone No Foundation Serum with SPF underneath.

I tried Laneige, The Face Shop and Lancome compact cushions. I didnt get the correct shades though.. They are ok but I agree with one lady here, its too moisturizing and thick regardless of using a primer. But their finishes are fresh and dewy, and yes after a few hours my face gets oily, even with applying it straight after toner.

Nevertheless, I popped in our local The Body Shop store, the Fresh Nude cushion is not in Brunei yet I’ve tried the liquid foundation (shade Bali Vanilla) But finally got my hands on the Drops of Youth concentrate and a Lip Definer.

oooh and and and to share, The Body Shop’s Lip Definer in 03 Clover combined with Lime Crime’s Velvetines in Marshmallow makes a lovely matte nude lip color

im gonna look around your blog some more. Later
