Ahh Lipstick Queen Black Lace Rabbit Lipstick you’re like sexy lingerie for my lips! Lipstick Queen Black Lace Rabbit launched earlier this Summer for the Fall 2016 and will be available in the permanent brand collection.

This sexy little black lipstick is a sheer black black shade with fine gold shimmer.

Can you wear it?

I’d like to think so!

I commonly associate black lipstick with Halloween personally but I do realize there a zillion people that can pull off a black lip look daily and looks amazing doing it! I, however, dorky person that I am, cannot! I’m kind of scared of the shade. But Lipstick Queen Black Lace Rabbit is actually a very interesting little shade that can be worn alone for a smoky almost berry-like (think Black Honey) finish on lips or you can use it over your favorite lipstick shades to create an entirely new shade.

This shade has a slick thin consistency with a shiny finish that applies easily on lips without skipping or tugging. There isn’t a single Lipstick Queen formula I can compare it to because it happens to a very unique texture that’s a lot softer, a lot thinner, and considerably sheerer than anything else the brand offers. It has a lightly hydrating texture that glides on like melted butter. On a single pace it appears a sheer, smokier black but as I build it morphs a bit and goes dark berry on my pigmented lips. I have pretty rosy lips and this accentuated them very nicely. It does have flecks of shimmer but that didn’t quite translate to the finish.

But I digress, because the real magic happens when you apply Black Lace Rabbit as an overcoat. In my look below I used a red lipstick and as you can see in my after shot it completely changed the color from red into this rather vibrant shade of raspberry! Depending on the shade you use it over it can either add vibrancy to shades or even lighten up a too bright shade and make it a bit more subtle and sexier!

Fall is here, berry shades are in and Lipstick Queen Black Lace Rabbit Lipstick is the perfect shade for using all its kind for a blackish berry bite on lips or as an overcoat to spice up your favorite lipstick shades and give them a new lease on life! I was a little wary but I’m ever so glad I gave this a chance because I loved it!

Don’t be scared of this black lipstick!

I love it on you worn alone. I was always afraid of Lipstick Queen until I tried it. I mean, who wears green and blue lipstick? But, it’s a great brand and no your lips do not look black, they look dark burgundy. Awesome color on you…I think. I think this is a try for me. 😉

Oh, wow, this reminds me of MK when she did I think it was 4 lip stick adjusters and one was black and did the same as you did in your before and after the red lip stick. PRETTY!

Yeah, it looks great on top of your lipstick, but I like how it looks when you wear it alone too!
