About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Just so you know… Not only do affiliate links have to be posted AFTER your mention that it is one (because many will click w/out ever scrolling down TO see your “affiliate disclosure”. The one that, btw…. is missing. Cannot be in a link here to see it. Legally, must be mentioned if it’s anything but.. you bought it yourself & the opinions are uninfluenced. SO… just before the code is given, must say…. a) received this product free from “x” for the purposes of a review… & b) The following is an affiliate link & if used, I will receive a commission based on your sale.. or something similar. Must state, however, that you will be compensated in some way. Definitely not just “affiliate link” or “click here for disclosure”. & c) If the review/mention is in any way sponsored & a paid ad/promo. Just trying to help you out. All per FTC. =)

I actually disclose on both the top and the bottom of my posts AJ. Below the title it says “affiliate” and below the post it says affiliate link. You mentioned it was missing from the bottom but it is there. I’ll have to have my developer change the words but from what I’ve seen from other blogs they disclose in the same way. Thanks for your input, sorry for the confusion. The affiliate links in this post aren’t even working anymore, they are actually dufuncked after 30 days so even if you click and buy I don’t make a commission from any of it.
