Sephora Sparkle & Shine Z Palette for Holiday 2016 arrives today in a sparkly gold design! This $30 compact can be filled and arranged anyway you want! Each palette contains a small key to help you wriggle out your pans from compacts and also magnetic sticks to pop them into your new Sephora Z Palette. The palette fits blushes and eyeshadows or anything else you want such as pan lipsticks, bronzers, etc…it’s completely customizable and arranged anyway you like!

And I’m cringing at this because I’m a packaging h0r! I save boxes for all my makeup and typically store items in their boxes which takes a hell of a lot more room. But I refuse to depot anything or throw boxes away. I’m a little weird like that. I think beautiful packaging is part of the appeal of makeup. So, depotting anything makes me cringe in horror!

But people really love these Z Palette as you can store a lot of makeup in one small spot!

The Sephora Sparkle & Shine Z Palette is available now at Sephora.com.

Do you depot or are you as emotionally attached to your makeup packaging as I am?

Do share!

Happy Hump Day by the way! The week is flying by isn’t it? I’m looking forward to the weekend. I def see a viewing of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children in my future 🙂

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have my renaissance pallett and hear people depoting that pallett…just the thought wiggs me out because what if something we’re to go wrong? nope not gonna do it. I do understand the box thing. I have to let go, but I do like displaying those Too Faced holiday stuff.

I de-pot some eyeshadow singles to save space and because it easier to find inspiration when I can look at all of them at once and not have to sort through a bunch of singles.

that’s totally one of the reasons I would like to depot but I never have the nerve to do it, love my packaging too much 😀

I felt that way about all my urban decay singles, but I knew I would use them so much more if they were with my MAC and MUG singles. So, I found round magnets at hobby lobby that fit perfectly into the place where the shadows went. I was able to save all the packaging, and I can put them back in there any time I want to. It’s the best of both worlds.

I just tried depotting for the first time this week and regret it! Physicians Formula products are always so darn bulky and take up so much space that I decided to depot the butter bronzer and yup…it’s buttery alright. It all fell apart and here I am still trying to get rid of the coconut odor and shimmer from my carpet.

I actually take the sturdier pallets and remove the plastic inserts the pans are in and line it with adhesive magnetic sheet. I did this with my DuWop Peacock Palette forever and you can fit soooo many more pans in there but still get use out of packaging the brand put a lot of thought into. I plan on maybe doing it with my Electric Pallette but that one looks a little too nice and made way better use of the space than the DuWop palette did.
