Looking to capture the rainbow on your face and do it on a budget? Wet n Wild ColorIcon Rainbow Highlighter captures and harnesses the light and beauty of a rainbow with their new pressed powder highlighter.

Earlier this Summer, an Etsy Shop by the name of Bitter Lace Beauty broke the Internet with their gorgeous rainbow highlighters. Needless to say after everyone started gramming, tweeting, and Facebooking the highlighter to a point it became impossible to actually buy the highlighter because the small shop couldn’t keep it in stock!

Now is your chance to experience the rainbow with Wet n Wild’s brand new Coloricon Rainbow Highlighter for a mere $5 bucks.

Here’s a look at the application and look using the Coloricon Rainbow Highlighter in the video below!

This simmering rainbow powder adds a pearl finish to skin with pretty pastel shades of pink, blue, yellow, orange, purple, aqua, and mint! Buff it on, blend it out, and you’ll gain instant unicorn status! Because lord knows your squad goals should including being part of a unicorn pack! Am I right?

Keep in mind if I attempted to wear this I would probably look like a disco-ball! I’m such a highlighter applicator failure!

I hope to see this one at drugstore soon but if you can’t wait to get your rainbow glow on you can get it now at www.wetnwildbeauty.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That WnW model looks 12. Eeesh…

If those Bitter Lace Beauty highlighters are reasonably priced, I’m all over them (whenever they’re back in stock).

And Muse! I used to fail at highlighting, too – use a tiny brush! Like I think I’m using a MAC 214 and it’s perfect. Corners of my eyes, nose, cheekbones – I get it where I want it and don’t look like a “foilure.” My apologies to whatever site I read this on – it’s lost. Refinery29?

I totally suck at highlighting, I don’t get it, but this is so pretty I must have it!

    Etsy, not Esty. Hehe
The rainbow highlighters are super fun, but not practical for me personally. I did get my sister the one that comes in the cute clamshell case for her birthday, and being a club kid, it’s getting major use from her!! Lol she prefers creating the rainbow look on her lids and when she does it, it’s breathtaking!

sorry, it was a hell of a morning. typo 🙂 It’s really cute but I def couldn’t wear it lol! I’d like an idiot if I tried! Rainbow on my lids though that might be a good idea!

I would rather support an etsy shop as much as I love Wet n Wild! Support small businesses! 🙂

The Morphe 510 brush is really nice for applying highlighter..I tried forever to get a nice highlight, it was always looked like mushy glow, but that one makes it really easy. 🙂

I just went on Etsy and saw tons and tons of rainbow highlighters and other highlighters as well offered by different companies. So if you can’t get the Wet n Wild one there are other options.

Oh yes. I am definitely checking my walgreens for this!! It’s really impractical for me, but for 5 bucks, what the hell!

I made my own rainbow highlighter! It was easy. I crushed some BH Cosmetics shadows with alcohol to make a paste, and then arranged them all in an empty NYX pressed powder pan. I pressed the top down with a paper towel and left it to dry for about 24 hours. Looks exactly like the Bitter Lace Beauty one!
