Someone needs to do a Netflix and Chill Eyeshadow Palette! It would consist the absolute nudist of nude shades, like barely there, minimal eye makeup! We’re talking zero effort here. Until that comes into existence another chill eyeshadow palette you can check out is the Cargo Chill In The Six Eyeshadow Palette ($34) which does require some effort on your part, no laying around, binging here.

P.S. Netflix and chill is so not code for sex around these parts. It literally means PJs, warm blanket, couch, binge, zero effort given. Can you tell I’m exhausted already and the week just started? 🙂

Even if I didn’t tell you its inspiration you can still figure out what the Cargo Chill In The Six Eyeshadow Palette is inspired by. Guessed it? If you said the cold, winter-y snow you’d be correct. If you narrowed it down to Toronto well, you won the damn Internet. This one is filled with cool tones of purple, blue, and silver. All shades I so can’t wear sadly! It’s also inspired by the cold, snowy landscape of Toronto in particular and contains a selection of 12 cool eyeshadows mixed with a few richer neutrals like brown and maple! It also includes an Eyeliner Pencil in Black and a dual-ended eyeshadow brush!

Shades:

  • Yonge St. (beige matte)
  • Maple (bronze shimmer)
  • Blizzard (silver shimmer)
  • Ice (medium blue matte)
  • Arctic (light pink shimmer)
  • 1996 (medium purple shimmer)
  • Dundas St. (medium taupe shimmer)
  • Goose (dark brown matte)
  • Eh! (dark grey shimmer)
  • Hockey (black matte)
  • The North (light purple shimmer)
  • Ontario (dark purple matte)

Get it now at Ulta.com.

P.S. What are you Netflix and Chilling lately? I really want to rewatch the Fall before catching Season 3 but simply haven’t had the time. No binging for me sadly, my schedule is packed although I did catch up on Fear the Walking Dead late last night. Fare thee well Chris, you won’t be missed. Ugh that kid was more annoying than the Strain kid!

Share your binge!

Why is Ulta carrying a Toronto palette when Ulta won’t even ship to Canada. How many Americans know what Dundas street is. Grrrr. Ulta makes me angry and jealous all at the same time!

I’m American and I know. I used to live in Ontario though : ). What makes me even sadder is this palette is probably made in China when Cargo is generally made in Canada. I love their swimables blush. They last and last.

  • Agona

I’ve never tried Cargo before (never appealed to me) but I’m attracted to this palette for some reason. I really like the groupings of quads and the color combos.

This looks beautiful for winter! I saw this palette in Kohl’s the other day. I’ve never tried Cargo makeup before. I wonder how good their eyeshadow’s are? I also saw Cargo’s gel lip color in Jamaica, which I thought would go perfect with this winter palette. I’m going to have to buy this palette.

I so love the colors in this palette but I equally dislike Cargo (been burned too many times). Not sure about this palette, but all the others I had from Cargo were made in China and had an awful, chemical smell that was off-putting. I did consider it because I love the cool colors, but there are too many other things worth $34 but not something that is probably made in China and smells like plastic.

Its so disappointing, because Cargo is a Canadian company and used to be made there. my swimabales blushes and eyeshadow quads are made in Canada and are excellent quality.,

This is what I always thought of whenever I saw Cargo products–makeup for swimmers. 🙂 Or any other sweaty sport?

  • Susan

I love it. Not a set of twelve brown neutrals where half of them are the same eggshell color!

Are you going to be reviewing this one? I’m wondering how the blue shades are for brown eyes. I like how the palette is basically three very different quads.

    • Isabella Muse

No 🙁 I didn’t purchase! I used to love blue on my eyes but nowadays I feel like it accentuates my fine lines way too much 🙁 but blue is def doable on my brown eyes don’t shy away 😀

      • Susan

Thanks for the reply. I can’t wear much blue eye shadow either, but find that a bit of dark blue on my lower lash line looks pretty good.

        • Isabella Muse

It’s tough lately! Or at least for me! But a pop on the lower lash def can work 😀

I’m not hip enough to know what “chill in the six” means! I just bought the cargo contouring palette with the bronzer, blush and highlight and it freakin rules! The best part is that I bought it with my Kohl’s cash so it was freeee!! (Of course I spent about $200 to earn that damn kohl’s cash.)

Update: This palette is now half-price at Ulta online. Somehow it fell into my cart. Go figure! The Canadian in me HAS to have it. 😉

I have and really like this palette; I’ve gotten a bit fed up with all the warm toned palettes and this is a welcome respite. The colors are muted yet still definite–don’t lose their identity when combined and blended. Still available now at All Cosmetics Wholesale.
