About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hi,

I guess my question doesn’t really have anything to do with Clinique’s Chubby pencils, but it made me think of it. Have you ever used any products from Nudestix and, if so, how did you like them? I’m interested in their eyeshadow pencils but my local Sephora stores don’t have them, so I was curious to get your take on them.

    Thanks!

I love this. The colors are so pretty. And they are just the right size for an evening bag. Especially this time of year, with office and holiday parties. And besides that, I have only used one lipstick up in my whole life. These are just the perfect size that you might be able to use them up before they go bad and get that weird smell. BTW! The lipstick I used up was UD Naked. Still my fav to this day. What am I going to do this year? So many awesome gift sets. Oh, well. I placed an order for this yesterday. 😉

Hey Muse! I’m with you on the chubby lip pencil train and I love Clinique’s formula! I was wondering, and you may not know, but do these still twist up? They are probably much smaller than other travel ones I’ve gotten and the bottom doesn’t look like it has the same twisty base. Just sort of wondering if the only product you get is what you see? Thanks!

hey katie! Glad I’m not alone, it’s one trend that I haven’t grown tired of. I’m no sure, I don’t have this set! You’re right the base does look sort of weird, maybe you can’t twist them up!?? If I get the set will pop back and let ya know!

I’ve seen various reviews saying they don’t twist up, so you don’t really get much product. 🙁

      • Katie

That’s what I’ve been seeing… I’m still a little tempted to buy, but it just seems like such a waste of packaging 🙁

So pretty!! Clinique has some really stellar products and $25 bucks is a great price! Definately grabbing this 🙂

Hmmm, I may have to grab this set! I have one Chubby Stick, and I like the sheer coverage.
