The Josie Maran Glowing Argan Oil Skincare Essentials ($36) is one of several new Holiday 2016 Gift Sets that released which include a variety of Josie Maran’s most popular skincare, makeup, and body products. This particular set includes some of her newest offerings like Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm and Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist!
I’ve been eager to try the finishing balm so I was happy to see it in this set.

This is a nice value set and gets you a good deal of skincare options to try out from the brand or to gift for that matter as who doesn’t want to share the joys of Josie’s Argan Oil with a friend or family member?
You get:
- Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist 1.5 oz
- 100% Pure Argan Oil 0.5 oz
- Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm 0.18 oz
- Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer 0.23 oz
I’ve been using Josie’s Argan Oil since she introduced. It’s one of my staple products and I use it just about everywhere! My face, my body, even my hair! If you’re a fan, you likely have a ton of Josie’s Argan Oil laying around. This smaller size is nice to tuck into makeup bag for travel or I keep my smaller bottle with my concealer as I use it to thin out thicker concealers like It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer.
I’m probably one o the few people that doesn’t love Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist but I blame it on the fact that Japanese mists have ruined me for anything else as they are the most hydrating facial mists around in my opinion. This is a much lighter mist that’s very, very lighting hydrating. This is a good morning mist as it is so very light it won’t interfere or take time away from your morning skincare routine and will allow your moisturizer to sink it more easier.
There’s an Enlightenment Illuminizer in here as well which is a pretty beige cream highlighter. You can mix it in with your body lotion or foundation to create a pretty luminous glow on skin!
One of the starts of the kit would be one of Josie’s newest offerings, Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm! I’ve wanted to try this for a while. It’s a hybrid formula that acts as a moisturizer and primer all-in-one much like Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer. You can use it under makeup or much like L’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing Cream you can use it over makeup. I’m testing it now and will share my thoughts with you shortly!
Call me boring but skincare gifts are always great for getting! I’d be more than happy to recieve a set like this for the Holidays. It’s an excellent way to introduce a friend or family member to Josie Margan’s products!
