The stunning Revlon Super Lustrous Love Is On Lipstick (745)( ($7.99) has arrived at drugstores and I quickly snagged one. Revlon Super Lustrous Love Is On Lipstick is a new and hopefully permanent shade that Revlon is calling a universally flattering red. It arrives just in time for the Holiday season as this is one gorgeous red that will end up on my favorites list along with shades like Bite Beauty VIB Rouge, Urban Decay Gash Revolution Lipstick, and Wet n Wild Cherry Frost Silk Finish Lipstick (that one cost a dollar yo!). It’ll also end up on my red lipstick shades that don’t make me look like a clown list 🙂

The Revlon Super Lustrous Love Is On Lipstick is a shade created to attract more love into your life using positive manifestation according to the brand. They actually guarantee the shade will bring more love into your life or your money back. Eh?!? Really? That’s an interesting!
This comes in special edition packaging which is a slick black with red metallic accents including the word “love” inscribed on the outer barrel. Inside the the mantra “I attract love”� in 6 different languages appears on the barrel. One of things that might make it a deal breaker is the fragrance and flavor which is a strong fruity floral inspired by ancient love potions that Cleopatra apparently used to attract men. If you aren’t too sensitive to the strong flavor and scent you’ll be very, very happy with a purchase of this shade.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick has always been a great budget lipstick pick and I think with Love Is On you get even more of that great formula. This is a thin, slick consistency that glides on lips with a smooth, creamy glide. It feels like melted butter! It just glides on so beautifully and leave lips with a slight shiny finish. I’m actually quite confused about the finish as it is way too slick to be called a cream or a satin. At first wen they said “universally flattering red” I thought it would b something along the lines of Lipstick Queen Medieval or even some sort of color changing shade like Lipstick Queen Frog Prince. That’s actually not the case at all. This is a full on cherry red shade that’s absolutely stunning with incredible pigmentation on a single swipe that’s completely opaque. The color remains vibrant and strong for a solid five hours without migrating or feathering. As it fades it leaves behind a pretty stained effect. Super Lustrous Lipstick has always had a beautiful texture but it seems even more loving for some reason. It just glide son so beautifully and wears so lightly. The one thing that did bug me was the flavor which had a tendency to linger and it made sound weird but it tasted a bit bitter which made me thirsty!? I know weird but true!
Revlon Super Lustrous Love Is On Lipstick is a stunning shade with an incredible formula well worth picking up! I’m Muse Approving this one but I have to say that flavor and fragrance might prove a deal breaker for super sensitive users. It’s the one thing that takes away from this amazing and super inexpensive lipstick!
