Another day, another new Tarte release for Spring 2017! Today we got the new Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint ($20) which are available in 20 shade selections and promises a pigment rich formula that sets to a lightweight matte finish.

I find it interested that Tarte is introducing yet another long-wearing liquid lipstick but the Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint seems to be a reformulation of the original Tartetist Lip Paints but in 20 new shades. The reason I like the original formula is because it is easy to remove but that was also the biggest compliant about the formula as well. This new formula apparently is non-transferable with a lighter texture. The original formula has a creamy whipped mousse-like consistency! This new formula appears to be a thin liquid lipstick. I’m quite curious about the differences between the two.

But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I think I’m liking Killin’ It! These remind me of the NYX soft matte lip creams, which are currently my fave liquid lip line.
