Wet n Wild Prismatic Color Icon Lipgloss are $2.99 each and 0.11 oz in size. These actually combine a few formulas and finishes we’ve seen in the past from Wet n Wild. First off, these are not like the Wet n Wild Pop! Color Icon Lipglosses we saw released with the Wet n Wild Pop! Back to School Fall 2016 Collection as those were quite pigmented and two of the three shades of Wet n Wild Prismatic Color Icon Lipgloss are sheer.
I thought The Loco-Potion had the same gel-like consistency as the original Wet n Wild Color Icon Lipglosses that launched with the Wet n Wild Venice Beach Summer 2015 Collection. Although unlike that release, this particular shade is not as sheer and has a sparkly prism finoish on lips. I detected no flavor in this shade or any of the shades. The formula wasn’t tacky nor sticky and provided a hint of a shine and plenty of sparkle on my lips. There’s a little tiny bit of grittiness that’s barely noticeable but worth mentioning on this particular shade.
Ring My Bellbottoms and particularly, Moxie Brown, reminded me of the just launched Wet n Wild Metallic Liquid Lipstick. Both had a thicker consistency compared to the Loco-Potion and sported more of a metallic finish versus a prismatic one. Moxie Brown is actually the shade that really stands out in this collection. It’s a really gorgeous coppery orange that looks incredible on its own but also great over red lipstick. Speaking of red lipstick, all these shades really act well as an over coat on top of lipstick, particularly red ones! This shade is the most pigmented of the three as well and wears the longest at around four hours versus two hours on the other shades.
Wet n Wild Prismatic Color Icon Lipgloss are worth exploring at this price. Particularly Moxie Brown which will easily incorporate into many Fall looks if you’re a lover of warm coppery shades.
