Like many of you I love my Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow Palettes which is why I’m pretty darn excited about the new Covergirl Trunaked Jewels Eyeshadow Palette for Spring 2017. This little guy will be available soon at drugstores and steps by from the golds, pinks, and browns we got in the original three Trunaked Palettes and gifts us with a few jewel inspired shades. The palette is made up of eight shades total with bolder, more vibrant jewel tones like blue and purple combined with light golds, neutrals, and smokier shades.

I have to admit it seems a little mismatched to me but I love the soft, easy to blend formula of the Trunaked Palettes so I can see myself picking this up none the less.

It looks like Spring 2017 is getting ready to hit drugstores hard! Revlon Spring 2017 has already popped up at Harmons so I suspect more brands will be launching their Spring 2017 Makeup Collections as well!

Can I just say I’m curious what Physicians Formula will be doing this year?

Look out for the Covergirl Trunaked Jewels Eyeshadow Palette soon at drugstores!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG does that mean spring will be filled with jewel tones?! Yay!! I was disappointed for fall/winter trends of russet cranberry colors as those don’t look good on me. But I loooove me jewel tones.

So ready to get my hands on this! If I see one more naked/nude palette, I’ll scream…we pale people need some COLOR!!!

    • Jane

This pale person wouldn’t mind if some cool-toned neutral palettes came out. It seems like the demand for warm neutrals was satisfied, but we cool people kind got the heel.

      • Isabella Muse

True! I forget about that sometimes, there’s been SO many warm palettes lately!

Oh yeah! This looks really pretty. I agree, we need some color. I think we can all say at this point we all have several neutral or naked palettes so this is a welcome change and this formula is terrific.

We admittedly have this in Canada already! I saw it at a couple of drugstores just the other day. Not sure if I’d pick it up myself though.

I think this is very reminiscent of the Kat von D Serpentina pallet. I will be picking this pallet up, for certain. I love all the TruNaked shadow pallets and honestly think these are the best eyeshadows I own, both in the way they go on, as well as their fabulous performance and wear time! I hope we will see at least a few more of these to arrive in 2017! I would love to see a gray pallet and a navy and blue pallet. It would be great to have a few options for those of us who have cool times skin that makes warm toned makeup appear dirty and less than beautifying!

I’m really drawn to all of these colors with exception of the blue…

Did you see the new Tarte kit on QVC? Are you getting and reviewing!?! You know you want to…. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

LOL! 🙂 I skipped it. Did you get it? Seems like shades I already own! You mean the Tarteist Set right?

      • Janessa

Yeah thats the one! I’m going back and forth on it… But we both know that means I’ll prob end up with it before the easy pay expires tonight LOL

I got this palette in Canada and did a review on it. I think it is a nice palette , all the colors are soft and easy to work with.

I’m also in Canada and was shocked to see it at Walmart the other day (I grabbed it).

The colors seem a little mismatched however I’m a sucker for a pretty pallette even though I’m unexcited about this.
What I am excited about is the new Wet n Wild’s Spring 2017 collection.
Hopefully another highlighter that will be difficult to find. Lol.

I’m skipping getting the rose palette which I been dreaming of but have plenty of Rose/golds. This one still has a few and a plus! Looks beautiful!
