Glamglow continues to grow their empire of skincare with this new Glamglow Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer for Spring 2017. At some point, I expect to wake up and find a full line of Glamglow Makeup has arrived.

Can you tell I’m slightly a Glamglow naysayer? I purchased some of the masks and I’m trying to understand all the youTube and blog ravings because I never see visible results with their skincare.

Sad panda!

But this new Glamglow Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer might tempt my oily folks out there to indulge.

Of course, nothing is easy as this is a confusing moisturizer that’s for all skin types, yes, even dry? Apparently, this is a light moisturizing with minerals that absorb oil and shine while hydrating skin. I’m always terribly confused when they recommend something that’s obviously meant for shiny or oily skin types for drier skin. Hmmm!

But I’ll give it a try. This one contains volcanic minerals that act like a sponge to soak up oil giving your skin a smooth, supple matte glow but never drying it out and keeping it well hydrated.

I can’t use this one now but it might just be a good pick for me in the Summer when my drier skin is a bit shinier.

What do you think?

Worth a try?

Glamglow Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer is available now at Sephora.com.

I don’t understand the Glamglow hype. I tried 2 of their masks and both of them burned my skin!like not just a tingle, they hurt my skin!

And matte glow doesn’t make sense to me! I will still wait for your review on it.

PS- I really like your reviews. You always include if the products have scents or flavour. For someone that is super sensitive to fragrance, you really help me decide if I would try a product. So thanks!

ouch! I didn’t have issues with tingling to be honest but I didn’t really see results using them! So much raving though, I feel like I’m missing out! haha me either! Matte glow?! eh? ;-D Aw thank you Victoria! I’m glad you find them helpful!

I’m a GlamGlow naysayer too. The masks never did anything good for my skin and they are so pricey. But, I’ll try this if it is Muse Approved.

Muse, I do adore the Supermud mask–it shrunk active breakouts and pores for me big-time–however, I’m not sure when or if I’ll be purchasing it again. It’s SO expensive, and the jar is small. I feel like there are other products (Lush, for one!) that give you as much or more bang for a lot less buck!

I read that the Origins charcoal mask is just as good as Supermud and costs way less. Will be giving that a try!

Happy to hear it! at least someone had good success 😀 I wish I could try ut but it isn’t for my skin type!

I recommend the new Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal mask as an alternative to Glam Glow – it’s excellent and much less harsh on the skin I find, and the price point is beyond reasonable!!

Thanks for the information! I was really wanting to try this but I have sensitive skin so maybe not!

I gotta say…I’m new here but always see your pictures for lipstick swatches (thank you!) Anyway, I just tried Glamglow last week and i’m glad I did. I got the gravitymud mask (did you know they are coming out with power ranger colors too?) Anyways, I don’t particular like that because I can’t tell that it does anything to my face, BUT I love the youthmud, I like the tingle, and I have very combo skin with a super oily t zone but also super flaky….anyway I got a few samples of the Volcasmic, and it’s awesome..it melts into your skin, smells like an orange creamcicle and well..It’s just really nice, I bought the full size today…def. give it a try.
