So, do we need another Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette? I’d like to to think so! The Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette for Spring 2017 ($62) might tempt you today or not after overindulging in turkey, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday deals you might not have room for it.

I admit to really disliking Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush but having some sort of odd love affair with the Ambient Lighting Blush palettes. What is wrong with me?

Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette gets an early Spring 2017 launch that contains three Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush. Note, they added “strobe” to name of the blushes which likely means they’ll be unleashing a new range of reformulated Ambient Lighting Blushes for Spring 2017. These new blushes promise a natural yet radiant finish that provide glowing color and an illuminating effect courtesy the ultra fine pearl particles in the powders.

Oddly enough, my biggest rant about the original blushes was their lack of luminosity! They fell kind of flat on my cheeks and I never really go the glow from them that I was hoping for. Maybe the new Strobe formula will redeem that.

This palette is a trio that contains 0.09 oz shades in:

  • Incandescent Electra
  • Brilliant Nude
  • Euphoric Fusion

Did you haul this one?

The Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette is available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I bought it too, and also one of the Kat Von-D powders.. I hate setting my under eye concealer and somehow powder just accentuates everything, but sadly my concealer moves around if I do not! Hopefully the blush palette will be good. I didn’t purchase a blush palette this holiday season, so timing was perfect 😉 Well, I could say anything to justify my purchase haha, who am I kidding

likewise! I used to avoid powder for ever but I started using Ben Nye and never went back! I’m hoping Kat’s formula is just as thin and silky! haha! me too! gotta justify the purchases 😀

I love the Hourglass powders but I think I’ll wait and check out reviews on this palette before splurging. My splurge fund is bone dry. Maybe if it’s good, I’ll ask for it for my birthday in April! I’m thinking it should be rereleased by then.

It’s VERY tempting, but I rather wait until I’m able to see some swatches.
I read that the middle shade is described as a “soft brown”. But since I’m extremely fair, even a soft brown shade could be too dark for me, and if I only used two out of the three shades, then I don’t think it would be worth me purchasing :/

I have their previous blush palette which is nice but I don’t use it as often as I thought I would. I also have one of their single blushes (Dim Infusion), which is really pretty. I’m going to skip this one since it doesn’t look that different from what I already have. Also lately I’ve mainly been using my loose mineral blushes (from Aromaleigh and Alima Pure) rather than the pressed ones.

Awww! They look so tempting but I would be repeating pretty much the highlighters I bought from WetnWild the I’ll have a Cosmo, Boozy brunch and I just found Sangria Castles! Loving them especially Cosmo and Sangria. Being a pale ghost I can either wear them as blush or bronzer the darker shades. Lately I’m realizing most colors work on me for being pale a bit goes a long way and I blend, blend, blend also with the eyeshadows. Need to stop buying stuff for a while (who am I’m kidding?!). But so hard to resist! I bought backups of those two so hard to find! Also found a bronzer by Colormates at Big Lots! Oh! It turned out so pretty I went back and hoarded a second too. So cheap! No breakouts! So happy!
