Those Ultra HD gel lipcolors are calling out to me. So is the cream eyeshadow; some of the colors look a bit more subtle than Maybelline’s.

I don’t know how you feel about shimmer; most of the colors were shimmery. I bought one of the mattes but haven’t tested yet.

I’d advise against them and suggest the Balm Stains instead.

They’re the same thing IMO except different “scent” and the Ultra HD Gel lipstick has a lot less product. Like less than half the length of the tube.

Ooo those lip colors! Revlon hit the Ultra HD Matte lipcolor out of the park (I may own like 12 different colors…) so I’m excited to hear your reaction to these new Gel ones! The color range looks really wearable and pretty.

I picked up a couple of the lip colors at Target last night and they’re really nice! I compared them to the bullet-style HD Lipsticks that I have and they seem a bit more pigmented, which is nice. Can’t wait to find the cream eyeshadows!

They smell exactly the same as the previous HD lipsticks. So kind of a fruity candy scent. I don’t think it was too strong, but I’m not really sensitive to scented products. I don’t notice it when I’m wearing them, for example, but when I open the cap I can smell them. Hope that helps!

I have and would love some of the new cream eye shadows. I’m going shopping tomorrow, hope to find them. 😀 thanks for the update

I just saw the Ultra Gel lipsticks today at Target! (Though I don’t think the display had 15 different shades; maybe only 8? Mostly brights/berries, which aren’t my colors.)

  • Jen

The blush sticks are awful! Even the darkest shade barely showed up on my fair-light skintone and when you try to blend them they disappear completely. Not to mention they’re expensive…I paid almost $12 each at Walmart. Needless to say, I returned them!

I am intrigued by the HD Gel lip colors (just hope they don’t have a bad scent) and the Kiss Balms!

  • Claire

i am looking forward to try the lipsticks. EmilyNoel 83 talked about them today on youtube and she loved the two shades that she tried 🙂

I saw that video, too. Picked up Dawn and Desert at CVS with beauty extra bucks and Revlon discount…2 lipsticks that cost more than $10 each for only $5.73! The colors are lovely and I won’t worry about the amount of product inside since I have a million lip colors. But buyers beware on the shimmery shades like Dawn. They have that same frosty finish as the old shimmery lip butters did, so they do sparkle more than shine.

I bought one of the Kiss Balms at Rite-Aid about a month ago. It smells nice but it has very little color (and I bought one of the darker ones as I had concerns that it wouldn’t have much pigment).

  • Heidi

I spotted those gel lip pies at Target. Only six or eight colors on display, though.

  • Susan

I just tried my kiss balm in strawberry yesterday and was very pleased. It felt nice, had decent lasting power, gave me a nice natural flush of color (a little more if layered), and there’s that broad spectrum SPF. It’s so nice to have something easy and pretty with SPF.

  • Michelle

I bought one of the HD lip colors (HD Desert, the nudiest shade) and LOVE it. It feels so comfortable on my lips and wears really well! Definitely picking up another shade or 2 next week

  • Kate

I know Target already has the Ultra HD Gel Lipcolors and they’re BEAUTIFUL!! I bought Dawn and Arabica and I love them both. They also have the kids balm….didn’t care for the scent, they smell somewhat like fragranced toys!
