Skincare Picks to Grab Up During the Sephora Sale

sephora-sale-skincare

I think we all get blinded by all the makeup options when shopping the Sephora 20% Off and end up forgetting that this is a great time to stock up on skincare favorites or to try out some new skincare!

There are a ton of gift sets available that make trying something new not only easy but affordable! Not to mention getting 20% off your expensive moisture of choice is always awesome.

Here are a few skincare picks to grab up during the Sephora Sale!

I’m not familiar with the brand but if you’re wanting to try something new Dr Roebucks Skincare launched on Sephora recently. I’ve already popped a few of their items into my cart as I was intrigued with the raving about how great it is for drier, sensitive skin. I’m dry and I tend to get a bit more sensitive in the Winter (or at least I did last year) so, I thought I’d give this brand a try out.

I know everyone was super excited about the Sephora Holy Sheet! Mask Collection but it sold out rather quickly. I’ll let you know if it pops back up but you might want to add the Sephora Mask It! All Over Set ($25) or Sephora Face Mask Set ($25) to your list! Each of these sets includes a variety of masks to spoil yourself from head to foot.

Clinique fan? The 10 Days of Clinique ($39.50) gifts you with deluxe sizes of some of the brand’s newest offerings like Pep-Star Eye Cream, Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer, and Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser plus old favorites like Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion not to mention there’s some fun color cosmetics offerings in the set as well like Clinique’s popular Chubby Stick for Lips!

I’m beyond excited that Drunk Elephant has a few great sets for the Holiday season as I’ve been wanting to try more of their skincare but not wanting to splurge too much on their higher prices. The DayGlow and NightBright Set are under $30 each and get you duo of Drunk Elephant’s most popular offerings like T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel. Not to mention their larger sets like the Let’s B Clear and AHA Kit give you even more Drunk Elephant Skincare options to try out!

One of my tried, tested, and truest skincare loves is Philosophy so I tend to stock up on a lot of favorites when Sephora has 20% Off. Some of their newest offerings like When Hope is Not Enough Facial Replenishing Balm and When Hope is Not Enough Gel-Oil Mask is on my list to try. And of course, I’ll be stocking up on my holy grail Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-aging Retinoid Pads and Solution! If you haven’t tried them, now is a good time to do so! These brighten, refine, and give skin a smoother, softer appearance.

If you have dry skin I highly recommend checking out Belif! Their The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb is game changing and available in full-size in the Don’t Be Flaky Gift Set for Holiday 2016.

Mask crazy? Me too! I’m typically a sheet mask kind of girl but this Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic 5-Piece Kit has been keeping me company all month long! It gifts you five different masks to try out and they are the perfect size (1.7 oz each) to see which one is your favorite and deserving of a full-size purchase!

I always, always stock up on Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid (Review) and Ceramidin Cream (Review) during the sale. Both are powerhouses for keeping skin smooth, soft, well hydrated, and youthful! Now is a good time to pick up the Masking All the Way Set as well which includes seven different sheet masks from Dr Jart.

Tarte launched quite a few new skincare options this past Spring and Summer including Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost, Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist, FRXXXTION Stick Exfoliating Cleanser (which I’m obsessed with), and Lip Facial Lip Scrub! Tarte offers the option to try all their latest skincare with the Ready, Set, Glow! Skincare Set as well as the Radiance Ritual Travel Set.

One of the lines I’m wanting to try more of is Sunday Riley and lucky enough they have a ton of great sets this season that allow me to try more of their line! The Sunday Riley #SquadGoals Skincare Essentials Set is well rounded box of some of the brand’s best products like Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment (which I’m gagging to try but not wanting to spend the $100+ dollars on a bottle) and Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. The Sunday Riley Power Couple Duo: Total Transformation Kit also gets you Good Genes Treatment as well as Luna Sleeping Night Oil which smooths, softens, and reduces the appearance of lines and darkness.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am planning to purchase the Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask. I have yet to find a mask that seems “worth it” to me in terms of visible skin improvement, yet I love the masking experience. This one has been on my list for a while, and I’m excited to get it at a discount. Maybe the Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Mask, too. I wish I could turn back time and un-buy the Drunk Elephant AHA moment kit, and buy the smaller day and night kits instead. I used the TLC for a month before throwing in the towel. I was waking up greasy, breaking out slightly more than usual, and just not seeing any benefits! Had I known that they would come out with smaller sets, I would not have dropped the $96 (though at least that was during 4x points time). Question about the Dr Jart ceramidin products: do you find them significantly more effective than the CeraVe line?

    • Isabella Muse

try sheet masks, def see visible improvements after first use 🙂 The Farmacy Honey Mask is quite lovely 😀 So far Drunk Elephant is proving uneventful for me so I’m happy about the under 30 bucks sets as $96 for something that doesn’t work killssssssssssssss me! Yes. Cerave is excellent but Dr Jart has lasting hydrating effects in my opinion!

I’m obsessed with the new Boscia let’s mask it set I believe it’s called. It has there new splash mask in it among other greats. I’ve noticed you don’t mention Boscia much. Are you not a big fan?

  • Emily

Thanks! Guess I’ll have to pop a sheet mask or two into my cart now, too!

    • Isabella Muse

My pleasure 🙂 I’d go with My Beauty Diary or my Scheming if you really want a good experience! Sephora doesn’t sell them but they can be purchased all over the Internet!

  • Varya

I’m considering the Dior Hydra Life Mask capsules ‘cuz oddball delivery system + unfamiliar (to me) ingredients. What could go wrong ? Also will definitely buy the Dr.Jart Ceramidin because I love it.

    • Isabella Muse

Dior typically has very good skincare in my experience with it 🙂 Hope it works out for you!!!!!!!!

  • Mel Lever

I just bought the Mason Margiela Beach Walk set today for $150, is it going to be 20% off too???

  • Jeanine Mcauliffe

Ah I must have missed that one. I have seen you mention it from time to time. I have super dry skin do you think the farmacy honey mask is worth it? I know you approved it but does it help your dry skin at all?

    • Isabella Muse

I liked it but if you have super dry skin maybe you need a richer moisturizer as a mask is not going to give you long time benefits.

  • Nicole

I was wondering, (if you know this) could you use the 20% vib discount multiple times? Like say in store and online?

    • Isabella Muse

yes, you should have gotten a card in the mail that can be used in store but if it doesn’t arrive they can look up your vib rouge status and likely will give you the discount. In the last few years you could use the code across several orders but I don’t know if that applies this year. I imagine it is fine to do more than one order though, I can’t see them suddenly changing that!

Have you ever tried the Fresh skin care products at Sephora? I love the Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask. I put it on before I go to bed and wake up with the softest skin. I also like Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate, it has such a nice consistency and soaks right in.

On another note, any thoughts about the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud mask? I would like to get a good deep cleaning/clarifying mask and was considering it.

    • Isabella Muse

I haven’t tried those Krista but have tried other items 🙂 I haven’t tried the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask yet! I’m planning to next week, check back with me, I’ll let ya know my thoughts!
