Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette ($32) jumped on and offline quickly today at Sephora.com. I swear, how do things go out of stock this quickly? Update: Kat Von D tweeted that this one wasn’t supposed to launch on Sephora today but ended up sneaking by somehow. The official launch is 12/18 for VIBS/Rouge and 12/22 for everyone else. The Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette was hinted out earlier this Fall and contains four holographic shades that can be used on eyes, lips, and your face.

This transformer palette can be layered over your eyeshadow or lipstick to transform shades and give them prismatic finish. Or the super shimmery powders can be used as a highlighter to capture light and bring it to your complexion! Formulated with a double dimension technology, these powders are packed with 360 refractive pearls and dipped in a prismatic coating. The shades act to capture light from every angle to create a spectrum of luminizing finishes on your skin.

According to the brand a little goes a long way as the pearlescent particles in the powders act to capture light and give your complexion a bold glow!

Shades include:

  • Emerald (green)
  • Saphyre (blue)
  • Amethyst (ultra-violet)
  • Opal (pink)

Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette will be available starting 12/18 at Sephora.com.

Will you be getting it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I saw it this morning about 8 am est. I snagged it up fast. I hope I actually get it since it looks like it was maybe a mistake ???? not sure but I am not going to call and ask. LOL

I used to have a mini Dior palette like that years ago, very pearly with the contrasting color shimmer. Pretty.

That big triangle is a pain though — hard to fit that anywhere unless it’s much tinier than the photo would imply.

Probably I will get it…? Never pick any KatVD item before.
If they are available to be tried and pick up at my nearest SF, I may.
But before that I should get myself a good primer that can show off the cool colors, lol

Also, if the case is plastic, not paper, in higher quality, that will be a big HIT

meh, it looks like a more expensive version of the Anastasia Moonchild Palette with fewer colors.

I was thinking the same–but I am excited! I am allergic to most Anastasia powders but KVD powders are typically fine for me! Most of their products are manufactured in either europe or north America so also happy with that.

hate when they call things holographic when they’re clearly not :/ and the shades in this look very similar to the abh moonchild ones, so this is a hard pass for me 🙁

Ohhh…..i’m all over this….anything that transforms stuff I already have works for me! 🙂 Thanks for always letting me know about cool stuff Ms. Muse <3

This reminds me of the SkinMarket palette I had with the same shadow colors plus a gold transformative shadow, I wish I still had it.
