Kat Von D Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette for Spring 2017 is a new all matte eyeshadow palette that contains eight highly pigmented shades. The Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette is set to release at Sephora.com on January 10th and was teased at earlier this month on Kat Von D’s Instagram account!

Today Kat teased us even further with this first look inside the palette.

Here’s a look!

No shimmer hear peeps and not quite as pastel as one would think but appear muted compared to Kat Von D’s past palettes. This $38 palette has a dominate blue and purple scheme doing on but isn’t quite what I envisioned when Kat was chatting pastel with us earlier this month. I’m sure some of you are relieved and maybe one or two of you might be heaving a disappointed sigh at the lack of true pastels (although, I’m not! I just can’t do pastels!).

Shades include:

  • Star
  • Clementine
  • Meow
  • Dope
  • Gloom
  • Danger
  • Skull
  • Doom

Are you going to grab it? Need swatches? See them here!

Kat Von D Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette wings it’s way to you January 10th at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. All I needed to know is that it’s all matte so it needs to be all mine. Marked the release date on my calendar!

Me neither! All matte, booooo! I am sick of matte eyeshadows. Was hoping this would be something cool.

The shot makes the shades look like they might be cream, even upon zooming but I know better than that from KVD. They all look so delicious I cannot wait for this well-priced palette!

It lookes too much like the matte shades from Metal Matte. Not interested , which is what I’m hoping for in most palettes in 2017 (hello Too Faced PB & Honey)!

super easy pass its not pastel at all I’m so disappointed just another rainbow pallete easily dupable with all the rainbow stuff i own such as electric, mi vida loca remix, metal matte, full spectrum etc..oh well saving money

It is a rainbow palette. You’re right. I don’t think it’s half bad, and the color pay off will be big, but the blues and the purples.? Not sure about that.

@sas the pigment may be great but its dumb to market this as pastel if it isn’t also i just saw this today and found two colors i could basically dupe with slight differences that would be unnoticeable. its just another marketing hyped up campaign to rip people off by repackaging the same stuff over and over.

I think people need to understand the artist medium of chalk / pastels to appreciate this palette. True pastel as in the color usually don’t translate to kids so these could be fun!
