Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment ($8.99) is part of the new Neutrogena Hydro Boost Makeup Collection that’s launching for Spring 2017. This new lip treatment conditioner keeps lips soft, smooth, and well hydrated courtesy a formula infused with Hyaluronic Acid.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment is a very nice, highly moisturizing lip balm slash lip treatment that’s incredibly small and super expensive. EEP! Sorry! Burst the bubble there didn’t I?

I picked this up at CVS and I’ve been using it nightly on my lips and I’m almost completely done with it. I hit pan! I love it but I can’t believe that it is merely 0.10 oz in size and nearly $10 bucks. Holy expensive Batman!

This is available in a single shade and comes housed in a clear square compact that travels and stores easily. It’s a little dense at first but immediately warms up when you press a finger into it and becomes super melty and buttery. It applies like liquid butter on my lips and gives them a nice hint of iridescent shine without any flavor or fragrance. It kept my lips pleasantly moist and well hydrated as well as super soft throughout the wear. It wouldn’t surprise me if at some point, maybe for Summer 2017 or Spring 2018, they do the same formula in tinted versions. It doesn’t feel waxy in the least and felt pleasantly lightweight and highly moisturizing on my lips. The packaging will likely turn a lot of people though as most folks, including myself, would prefer a squeeze tube.

The problem?

The small size and the price tag are pretty absurd. Fact of the matter is, Nivea Lip Butter has a very, very similar formula and a pot will set you back $3 and contains 0.59 oz.

Love this formula, hate this size and price!

If you can get it on sale I’d recommend a pick up but please don’t spend nearly $10 bucks to try it!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment is launching now at drugstores and is available at www.neutrogena.com and should be popping up soon at Ulta.com.
